★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Arrived early enough for happy hour even though my reservation was set for 6:30. The vibe for a Friday felt a little mid—maybe because it was still early—but the food was really tasty and super good. The only downside was the hibiscus margaritas. I love anything hibiscus, but these weren’t strong at all. I ordered two and could barely taste the tequila. Because of that, I’d rate the place 4/5. Aside from that, the DJ was great, the service was attentive, and the space was aesthetically pleasing. I’d definitely come back!
September 06 · Maritza VWe came with my boyfriend to eat and it was an amazing experience. The music is amazing, the decoration is unique.you can also watch NBA match if needed. The food is very good, I was especially chocked by the quantity in the plates: they are BIG it’s worth your money. I love how generous they are.The cocktail are quite strong in alcohol but quite original.such a good experience at Native I recommend ✨
May 28 · Juliette MAHIEUThe restaurant is very cozy and split up as a bar/lounge and dining in the back. For dinner it is pretty dark in the back. Portions are small for the price. I paid $21 for this tiny portion of "jollof spaghetti" during dinner. It was very spicy even though the server said it was about a 2 on the scale. It was a small cereal bowl of pasta. It was empty on a Tuesday night, with a few tables occupied. Really easy to rack up a fat bill trying to procure enough food to eat and have a decent meal. It was slow night in terms of traffic but the kitchen produced output like it was a full house. It took forever to get our entrees. Have mercy on your stomach if you try to eat here when it is busy, perhaps on the weekend.
June 26 · X. MoorerI’m always excited to try West African fusion restaurants, and stumbling upon Native was no exception. While the service left much to be desired—we waited about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, despite several open tables near the bar—the food more than made up for it.Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. The lamb chops were absolutely divine, and the suya chicken wings were just as impressive. If you enjoy heat like I do, be sure to ask for their pepper sauce—it’s spicy, bold, and pairs perfectly with both the lamb and wings. The zobo drink was the only letdown for me. It was much too sweet and lacked the ginger kick I’m used to, so I couldn’t finish it.The atmosphere started off a bit slow, even though the DJ was playing great music that deserved a more lively crowd. Fortunately, the energy picked up as the night went on, which added to the overall vibe.Despite the rocky start with service and the overly sweet drink, we had a pleasant overall experience, and I’d definitely return for the food and vibes alone.
May 30 · Sky LimTruly enjoyed the Afro Vibes brunch! Ola provided the best service, Liza the best drinks, and overall it was a great vibe. The food was delicious and a great way to try something new while still maintaining the core of the food and flavors of the diaspora. We had the Native Bowl w/jollof rice and goat, Chicken & Waffles, suya, jerk chicken mac and cheese, and bottomless mango mimosas. The decor is cute and great for content if needed. The DJ mix was also fantastic!
