★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Saw the beautiful sign across the street and decided to give them a try. I got the avocado salad with chicken ($15) and a side of mexican corn ($5). Both were delicious. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly and polite, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It has different colored mood lighting and music playing in Spanish that is loud but not super loud. There was no wait at about 4:30 on a Friday.
June 06 · Jennifer CrainMy server was very attentive and inviting. Not sure why this place doesn't have a straight 5 star rating (i mean what restaurant does I guess, eh?) And I'm no connoisseur of Mexican cuisine however this was some of the best I've tasted. The environment was a bit chilly (at the time of this post it was 31 degrees out farenheit) but clean and inviting. You can come here and definitely relax from a busy day. Music wasn't overly loud (however I did come at 4PM). It's located in a part of the Bronx I'm sure would attract more people if they were all working class. In any case, the food was amazing and hot-well presented too. It filled me up and I'm 6'4" 250 lbs.Definitely a great experience. Highly recommend.
December 04 · Logan ShieldBrandon was our serve and so accommodating to both my mom and I dietary restrictions. The food came out fast and delicious. Real tacos and quality flavor right in the Bronx
November 10 · Dana LuzunarisDefinitely a 3.5 star restaurant, love the look of the place and their frozen margaritas. I come here every couple of months to try different things. This time around I tried the steak chimichangas and my partner had the steak green enchiladas. The food is always pretty good, not the most amazing Mexican food I have ever had but definitely prefer it over other options out there. The portions are pretty big, I try to get an appetizer, an entree, and sometimes even desert if I’m not too full. But their portions are quite large that I can’t seem to get all three. Would definitely recommend for volume with reasonable prices. 15% gratuity is included in checks.
January 18 · Lissette MuñizA colleague and myself came here for dinner earlier this week.Service started out strong with a friendly greeting, quick drink order taken and recommendations provided. From there it dropped. The server forgot to ring in one of our food items, he also forgot to bring water which was requested midway through the meal. We got a strong whiff of marijuana midway through eating and my colleague was pretty sure the server was smoking at the bar (it was definitely coming from inside). Slow service the remainder of the meal.Food was ok. Not horrible but I've had better. We had the guac and chips, tacos and mole. Guac tasted bland. Taco meat was a bit dry (carnitas). Portion sizes were good. Both of us had margaritas and at least were able to get one round during happy hour. Mind you when we ordered a second we noticed the glasswear changed so while you think you're getting a happy hour deal, it's just a smaller sized drink.Atmosphere wise, there were only a few tables. Music was so loud we could barely hear each other (part of their vibe I guess).Watch out when paying as there is already a 15% service fee included. I usually tip 20% but based on lackluster service the 15 seemed even high.Would not return.
