I would like to start this review by stating that I'm not one who applies perfection to reviews but when it's deserved I will do my best to explain why and Norwinds deserves 10 stars for the magic that happened on Saturday.I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wife's 50th birthday party at Norwind's, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect, and our guests are still raving about the party.The staff was the heart of this fantastic event. Jay is the epitome of a great host. Super helpful during the planning process, offering excellent suggestions and making sure every detail was handled with care. On the night of the party, the servers and bartenders were the A-team. They went above and beyond to make everyone feel special, and they did it all with a warm smile.And the food! It was, without a doubt, the best Puerto Rican food in the city. Every tray was cooked to perfection. Alcapurrias are my own personal guilty pleasure and I have yet to find a place that makes them as good as Norwinds.The atmosphere was electric. The layout of the restaurant could not have worked out better. We had space and lighting for dancing, tables for eating, even some spots to "get away" . Jay and crew were more than happy to help to get the layout just right. Prior to the event I was stressing on how I was going to guarantee a non-boring event and again Jay stepped in with DJ recommendations and those DJ's understood the assignment.Saturday night definitely created new core memories for my wife, myself, and I wouldn't doubt it for a large number of those that came as well.I would highly recommend Norwinds to anyone looking to host a special event. Their dedication to impeccable service, incredible food, and creating a memorable atmosphere truly sets them apart. Thank you for making my wife's 50th a night we will never forget!* Due to hosting duties I didn't get a chance to take decent photos that gives my experience justice but I hope you can tell by everyone's smile that it was the case.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the wonderful hospitality you and your staff extended to my family and me. Everything came together so beautifully, and your reassurance throughout the process meant so much.The food was exceptional. The egg rolls and cod fish fritters were a huge hit, and everyone is still talking about the adult slushy, which was the star of the day. The drinks overall were outstanding and truly elevated the experience. The inside and outside décor of the space was absolutely beautiful and required very little additional decoration, which made the setting feel effortlessly elegant.The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and the place itself was immaculate. To make the experience even more memorable, we were later surprised with a beautifully arranged video montage. Receiving it afterward was such a thoughtful gesture, and it was gratefully appreciated by my entire family.Combined with the perfect DJ, it all came together to create exactly what we needed to make the occasion complete. It was truly a memorable family experience that we will never forget.

Norwinds is a phenomenal restaurant filled with amazing food, drinks, music, and terrific service. Once you leave you feel like family. The Norwinds culture is intoxicating to the point you don't want to leave. Absolute love going there. Celebrated my 49th birthday with friends and family. I will definitely be back.

A Hidden Gem in the neighborhood. We had a amazing experience. The service was outstanding from the bartenders, security and servers. All of our servers was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable they were attentive without being intrusive The Dj kept the vibes going with an inviting atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service, making it a great value for the money. I would highly recommend this

All I could say is it's like hanging with your extended family. The vibe is joyful and upbeat. The food and drinks are great. Took my wife and best friend and we had a smile on our faces the entire time. Swaying to beats being played by the DJ, who was great. Playing an array of upbeat music from multiple generations. The staff get their helpful attitude from the gracious host and owner, John. Everyone was so attentive and truly looked like they were having fun. I'm definitely coming back and really recommend everyone join in on the fun. This is truly a happy place. Can't wait to go back.
