★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ok so first, the place is definitely vibey and cute. It’s pretty cool there’s a few floors and it feels like a very exclusive place. However, I honestly just don’t understand why a drink so small costs almost $25, they taste like any other average drink you can get at a bar. Everything is ridiculously overpriced. The caviar set is nice in the sense that there’s a some variety, but how the hell is a few bread crumbs and toasts plus chips be $25 per person for that small?? So between 4 ppl, the whole set (u see in the picture) was basically $100. Like I could buy a whole feast with $100 outside or buying my own chips and bread and plates too.And BY THE WAY, there’s like a $40 minimum spending and the $25 per person is just the caviar set (bread + sauce) and not including the caviar. The sauce itself is also so small, I think they should’ve given each person a set of three instead of 4 people sharing three tiny bowls (it’s barely enough). That said, the food does taste good and the truffle fries are expensive but pretty good. Everything is “aesthetic”, though it’s really hard to hear someone across the table cuz it’s quite loud there, I feel like the seating placement is kinda awkward. The bill came out to be $400 between 4 ppl so :))) not including tax and tips. Anyways, this is like once a year for me so like whatever, but as a tip, before you bring friends to this place make sure everybody is on the same page about the pricing expectations. I personally don’t think it’s worth my money here but maybe if you’re on a date with someone special it’s fine. I just think you could enjoy a lot of other places and eat more for this price.
June 26 · Valencia HartonoMy friend and I had an amazing experience at The Pearl Box! Our server Ken was incredibly attentive and kind, and his outstanding service truly elevated the entire evening. We got seated in a cute lounge area with plush red chairs & loved the elegant + chic decor!! The caviar service (shoutout to Ken 👏) was fantastic and the mushroom toast and popcorn chicken were both delicious. We honestly didn’t expect much from a bar menu, but we were pleasantly surprised.I highly recommend Pearl Box for a special night out with great ambiance, amazing service, and unexpectedly great food! I’ll definitely be back.
June 25 · ChristineI think the inside is stunning. It’s beautifully decorated and quirky. I did not care for my Martini. It was pretty basic and not the best drink I’ve had. My friend ordered something else and it was mostly ice. They give candy which is cute, but it was $15. I think this place is overpriced but it’s a cute spot.
July 02 · Neha Luthraomg - we were in awe of how aesthetically pleasing and alluring this place was! we walked in on a Sunday right when they opened - it was pretty empty and we were the only ones there. highly recommend making a reservation if you’re coming on a busy day!we came for pictures, the owners and servers were so friendly and kind - hyping us up and allowed us to take pictures anywhere and everywhere! we were also given a plate of free candy for the vibes 🥹. we ordered steak frites and 2 mocktails to share - everything was great and appetizing. definitely recommend this spot for a date night or a GNO ❤️
August 06 · Jenn LiuFirst and foremost, I want to say that Dani and Angel were absolutely incredible. So so kind and welcoming to my friends and I!! Other than that, the Pearl Box is not worth the $45 minimum that is requires per person. The food portions are small and many of the menu options are “kid’s menu” items such as popcorn chicken nuggets, fries, and grilled cheese . For fun, we also ordered the candy box. Don’t let social media fool you. Less than half of the box is actually full of candy for $15. If you are going there just for photos, good luck! You will be asked to stop, even if the photos are not with flash photography. And when I say that, it is with absolutely no anger towards the staff. They were respectful, kind, and polite. Overall, I wouldn’t go back to this establishment.
