What is Worth Choosing
Choosing Petite Crevette is choosing a memorable, high-quality, and surprisingly affordable seafood experience in New York City. The primary reasons why local users should prioritize this Brooklyn gem revolve around the triumvirate of quality, value, and atmosphere.
First, the **unwavering quality** of the fish—consistently described as "amazing always fresh"—is the central draw. Signature entrees like the **Scallops Dijon** and the diverse tuna preparations (including Carpaccio, Burger, and Nicoise) showcase a kitchen that knows how to treat fresh seafood with respect and flair. The menu provides a sophisticated experience with items you'd expect at a much higher price point.
Second, the **incredible value** is a major factor in a city where dining costs can escalate quickly. Customer reviews frequently point out that the quality received here would "easily have to spend double in Manhattan," and the practical, often-cited BYOB option further contributes to a cost-effective, yet elegant, night out. For New Yorkers looking for a special occasion spot that doesn't demand a massive outlay, Petite Crevette delivers exceptional bang for the buck.
Finally, the **unique atmosphere**—romantic, cozy, and welcoming to all—combined with features like **live music** and the option to **accept reservations**, elevates the experience beyond a typical neighborhood restaurant. It’s an ideal setting for an intimate date night or an important celebration. The combination of its fresh menu, charming ambiance, and commitment to value makes Petite Crevette an essential destination for any New York seafood lover. You come for the delicious fish, and you stay for the atmosphere and the famously good **Key Lime Pie**.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lovely place, feels relaxed and special. Went across the street for a bottle of wine and the guy there listened to our orders and gave us a bottle that paired nicely. Tuna on the Niçoise salad was delicious. Perfect anniversary spot!
March 19 · Twolle WolleAlways eat everything way too quickly here because it's delicious. We've eaten here 4 times in a year and it's always amazing always fresh and I'm always impressed by the service and quality. Not sure what other people are talking about with regards to slow service. You have the option of tipping what you want to by clicking the custom option below the choices for tipping less than 20% if you're bothered by it. This place actually deserves it the 20%. Had a meal for 2 including dessert for $100 without tip, for this quality I'd easily have to spend double in Manhattan to get this quality without tip.If you haven't been here and love great fish it's a must go. Pro tip order key lime pie for dessert.
June 30 · Charlie BAmazing food , thier seafood is delicious highly recommend if you in the area , branzino was delicious
September 15 · Howie_doingI am transported to the south of France here and I’ve never even been there. This place is so lovely, the food is incredible. I loved every moment we were here. Don’t hesitate, just come. And bring wine. You won’t regret it! There was no wait on a Saturday night, we just walked in. I know I’ll be back.
June 28 · Jordana FishWe made a last-minute Valentine's Day reservation at a charming, boutique-style restaurant with a lovely, intimate atmosphere. It's a BYOB establishment, but a nearby wine store offered excellent pairing suggestions. We enjoyed delicious mussels, sea bass, and brazino dishes. I certainly plan to return.
