What is Worth Choosing
Choosing Pizzi...Cotto By Alessio is an excellent decision for New Jersey diners for multiple reasons, chief among them being the exceptional quality of their signature vodka sauce and the overall depth of the menu. This is not a place you visit only for a standard slice, but for a full-on Italian American culinary experience.
The biggest draw, and what makes the restaurant worth a dedicated visit, is the aforementioned Drunken Chicken Parm on Garlic Bread. This dish encapsulates the essence of the restaurant: taking a beloved classic (Chicken Parm) and elevating it with their celebrated vodka sauce, then serving it on a satisfyingly garlicky base. It is the definition of comfort food taken to the next level—a must-try that showcases the kitchen’s ability to innovate within the classic Italian framework.
Beyond that standout sandwich, their pizza selection, especially the square pies, is highly recommended. The Grandma Pie, with its house-made fresh mozzarella, basil, and diced garlic, offers a fresh, rustic flavor profile that New Jersey pizza aficionados appreciate. Those looking for a more decadent experience should try the Drunken Grandma or the Vodka Sauce Pizza, ensuring you get that creamy pink goodness in every bite.
Lastly, the BYOB feature cannot be overstated. For an area where dining out costs can quickly add up, the ability to bring your preferred bottle of wine allows for a high-quality, full Italian dinner experience without the high price tag of restaurant-sold alcohol. This policy, combined with their commitment to making every item, from the mozzarella sticks to the Penne Vodka, “yummy” and “delish,” solidifies Pizzi...Cotto By Alessio as a premier, value-driven, and highly recommended Italian pizza restaurant in the heart of Bergen County. For a truly satisfying and memorable taste of North Jersey Italian comfort food, this is the place to be.

May 09 · Lauren SGreat food, came here twice in 4 days. :)Definitely recommend the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots as apps
August 04 · Jess MigliaccioThis pizzeria is owned by a cute elderly Italian couple who are really nice. I have tried almost every pizzeria in the area and this is the best one. Trust me when I say the two on the boulevard (which I shall not name) are overrated flavor wise. Pizza is mostly about sauce and they have the best best tasting sauce. Another plus is their cheese doesn’t taste artificial which a lot do. Don’t go without getting garlic knots for 5 bucks, It’s a bin full of them smothered in raw garlic and oil which tastes amazing. Their prices are great too, especially for a pizzeria using all authentic ingredients.
July 03 · KevinI’ve been living in Lodi for 14 years now and have tried nearly every pizza place within a 3 mile radius. This one is easily top 3 for me. Maybe even top 1. Top tier slice with great sauce and a perfect crust. Buffalo wings were served crispy, not coated in any sauce but still spicy which I loved. They were super friendly too which means I am 100% coming back to try more.
