The dining philosophy at Potasia Hotpot encourages exploration, beginning with the foundational element: the Soup Bases. While the traditional Hot & Spicy Soup or Hot & Spicy Butter Soup is a classic, the unique Tomato Soup and Herbal Soup offer fantastic alternative flavor profiles. For indecisive diners, the Combination Pot ($29.89) allows sampling of multiple bases simultaneously.
What truly sets the experience apart is the quality of the raw ingredients. Guests should focus on the premium Meat selections, particularly the marbled Snow Flake Cattle (Uncooked) ($29.89) and specialty cuts like Beef Tongue ($18.39). The Seafood options are equally impressive, featuring high-end choices like Live Blue Crab ($18.39) and the house-made Homemade Shrimp Paste ($16.09). For a curated experience, the Chef Special Combos—like the Surf & Turf Combo ($64.39) or Lobster Combo ($75.89)—offer exceptional variety and quality.
The vast Vegetable selection, including exotic options like A Choy, Black Fungus, and various noodles, strongly supports the Healthy options and Vegetarian options offerings. Patrons are advised to take full advantage of the magnificent Sauce Bar—it is here that you truly customize your meal, blending savory, spicy, and nutty flavors to your exact preference. Though Potasia operates on an a la carte model, one reviewer pointed out that the generous, "large portions" and superior quality justify the cost, providing excellent value for a high-end hot pot experience far above the set-price options. Conclude this authentic Chinese meal with a unique dessert like Potasia Grass Jelly ($8.04) or a specialty Bubble Tea, such as the Fresh Grapefruit Jasmine Green Tea.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A truly authentic hotpot experience. 👍👍The meat quality & soup base is good. The venue itself is elegant and transports you back to Chinese antiquity.Well organized sauces and some complimentary side dishes.Impressive selection of wines that include Opus One & Caymus at reasonable prices. A pint of Asahi or Sapporo draft can be had for $5.If you are not familiar with hotpot dining. It’s a must visit because there is so much to explore. It will excite not just your taste buds but also your visual senses. 🤟🤟The only reason it did NOT receive 5 stars ⭐️ is because for $45 per person I can go to AYCE hotpot in Westbury…
February 01 · Frugal CyclistThis is a beautiful authentic hot pot experience. It's different than the set price places. Everything is priced out separately. However you can share all the items that come out. They give large portions. We had a great time. The sauce bar is really great, adds a layer of flavor to your food if you choose. You are not rushed, we had a good amount of time to eat.
May 24 · Colette GoodmanBest hotpot place so far in Longisland, my family and I go there all the time. My Chinese friends also love going there. Strongly recommended, very clean and fresh meat, seafood and vegetables. Most importantly is the bone broth soup is so good, nothing else added into the soup, it’s so healthy without artificial ingredients like msg etc… Also you have to try their MaLa Tong, is so delicious. I usually order beef MaLa Tong with shrimps and my husband likes their hotpot lunch special beef combo and their fish for hotpot is so delicious. 😋❤️
April 03 · Wendy ChenLove love love Potasia! We come here once every week or two and never get sick of it. The food is always amazing and fresh and the staff is quick, courteous, and attentive. The decor is also lovely and very clean. They have a large sauce bar along with some appetizer-esque dishes, the spicy shredded potato and black mushrooms are favorites! Always looking forward to our next visit!
