I recommend eating the French Toast, but everything we had was perfect, so it is really a matter of preference. I also suggest getting dessert to end you evening with a sweet treat to die for!They also do events! My brother and sister in law had their rehearsal dinner here, and it couldn't have been a better day with their beautiful balcony and amazing food.

She led us to a prime table next to the Saugatuck, inquired how I was doing, and brought over a chair so that I could elevate my leg. This was my first visit to Rive, and the entire experience was amazing. The waitstaff, background music and delicious food made for a lovely al fresco lunch. The salad of the day with grilled shrimp, pate, sparkling rose, croque monsieur and profiteroles were all excellent. This establishment is a real gem in Westport.

The cocktails are uniquely French and memorable, standing out from other restaurants. The female owner is delightful, warm, and inviting to all. What impressed me most is how the serving staff is completely in sync with the back of the house timing appetizers well without rushing you to entrees, and then ensuring everything is served hot and beautifully presented.

It was a limited menu due to the nature of the function, but everything was top notch & delicious. There were around 30 of us, and everyone raved about the food. The service was impeccable. The staff was incredibly friendly and so on top of every detail. It was a stellar experience, and I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.
