For any New Yorker seeking an exciting culinary deviation from the usual coffee shop or lunch spot, Sàigòn Cà Phê offers a truly unique and high-quality experience. What makes this Bronx cafe genuinely worth choosing is its ability to perfectly blend two culinary worlds: the rich, aromatic traditions of Vietnamese street food and the comforting familiarity of a neighborhood cafe.
The absolute top recommendation is the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Known for its incredible strength and flavor, it’s the perfect antidote to a slow morning or a mid-day slump. Customers love that the staff is accommodating, willing to adjust the traditional sweetness level to half-sweet or less, ensuring everyone gets their ideal caffeine fix. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m so glad this spot opened! I got the tofu and mushroom vermicelli plate and it perfectly hit the spot. Flavorful without being heavy. The pastries are delicious. Shout out to the apricot danish. It’s great to have a vegetarian option when you need a bite on the run.Update: If you’d like to try a special coffee, go for the Vietnamese coffee. It packs a good caffeine punch. I like my coffee without sugar usually, so they made it half sweet for me and it hit the spot! The pastries are all worth trying, especially the apricot one and the cream cheese one. The one pictured here is blueberry. This spot is a great alternative to the Italian options nearby.2nd update:Iced Vietnamese coffee and some fluffy cakes are hitting the spot as the weather warms up!
April 04 · Erika HouleI vibed with the cafe. Food is amazing and they are great people to share their merch and pastries. Also have great bubble tea! They have been trying to open for 2 years before becoming a store last December. So they are a relatively new place at the time of this post. Will come back for more boba! The owners are also into anime and trading card games, and they had a good conversation with me. Let’s show support for Saigon Ca Phe! This place has been a blast!
July 09 · Klein VisualsUsually order Grubhub so my review is based solely on delivery. I only order the soft lemongrass pho and it is probably the best pho in the Bronx. I love how each meat tastes separately and together in the broth and it is adequately spicy, they separate each soup ingredients well and package it off nicely for a great distance. My only con would be to slice the fat off parts of the tendons better.
September 14 · O LAs of Jan 15th, they have Phở!! Try the spicy lemongrass if you are spicy food aficionado 🌶️A newly opened Vietnamese joint in the Bronx! The best Vietnamese iced coffee my partner and I had so far. It brings back memories of my travel to Vietnam!Vietnamese iced coffee consists of 40% condensed milk and 60% strong coffee. The drink has a lot of ice for a reason (the ice gradually waters down the strong coffee to keep the flavors balanced for hours.)
March 31 · Natta Aso great to have a vietnamese place in the area!! there were so many fun board/card games at the place to play with friends & we were so happy with the friendly service:) highly recommend the viet coffe, the cream puffs, and the mango flavored boba with popping strawberry topping — and make SURE you get the apricot cream danish it was SO delicious
