★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were warmly welcomed with a smile the moment we walked in, seated right away, and had our drinks in front of us almost instantly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came in generous portions without losing any quality. We enjoyed the Thai chili shrimp, penne vodka with shrimp, and chicken parm—each dish cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We finished with the pistachio torta, which was absolutely delicious. Great service, great food, and an all-around great experience.
August 10 · Michael DeRosaIt looks low key from outside but a must visit at this quiet looking place. Different from popular fancy NY perhapsWe happened to walk by this place around 4 PM and were likely their first guests of the day. From the outside, it looked unassuming — but the moment we stepped in, we could tell it was an upscale, fine-dining experience. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, and the service was exceptional. Our server — I believe his name was Derrick (definitely started with a "D") — was top-notch: professional, poised, and clearly seasoned. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over six years myself, I can confidently say he knew exactly what he was doing.I ordered the Penne Arrabbiata and it was prepared just the way I requested. Along with that, we were served complimentary bread and soup — a thoughtful touch that added to the experience. The service was seamless, and Derrick was attentive to the fact that we were in a bit of a rush to catch a train at Broadway station. He even packed the rest of our meal without us having to ask. Thanks to him, we made it just in time! 😉This place might appear low-key from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. It’s a must-visit — a refreshing break from the typical flashy spots in NYC. Highly recommended.
June 26 · Ujjwol Joshi (gorkhalichelsea)Good food and desserts. Not the best strip mall location. Inside nice. Clean and comfortable. Parking tough.Open Easter 🐣
April 20 · Michael SalernoIs a nice-looking restaurant with good customer service. I ordered crab cake for an appetizer, it was very good. My husband ordered the trouble fries, and he said it was very good, I ordered the Ribeye steak with onion and mushrooms, and it was ok for my taste I would like less salt in the onion and mushrooms and the meat more soft, my husband ordered chicken parm with pasta he said it was good.Customer can bring their own bottles.I will repeat he visit again, just ordering something different than the steak.
January 21 · Genesis CThe location of a rundown strip mall was unappealing, but because of the good reviews, we gave it a chance. We had an app, salad, and 2 entrees. We were surprised by the high prices for the venu, but thought it would reflect the quality of the food. We were very wrong. The app was ok, not great, the goat cheese salad was similar, but not as good , but the entrees were the real surprise. I took one bite of the sage chicken covered in an odd tasting brown sauce with likely canned mushrooms and stopped eating immediately . My friend ate the fish special that she ordered, which I strongly discouraged , and she regretted it immediately, however inexplicably finished it. I went home hungry , she went home ill. I don’t leave bad reviews, but felt I had a moral obligation to warn others- the food was not even mediocre, it was bad, service was nuts slow and there were only 3 tables, the restaurant temperature was freezing. It was worst food I had since I was punished with college cafeteria food.
