Kings Co Imperial Introduce
Kings Co Imperial has established itself as a vibrant and essential destination for Chinese cuisine lovers and cocktail aficionados alike in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Far from a typical local Chinese take-out spot, this establishment is a thoughtfully designed restaurant and cocktail bar that has earned a loyal following among New Yorkers. It distinguishes itself by offering a Pan-Chinese menu that expertly balances familiar comfort food classics with more traditional, regional Chinese dishes, particularly showcasing bold, punchy flavors often associated with Sichuan cuisine, alongside Cantonese staples and American-Chinese favorites.
The philosophy here is to present Chinese food with integrity, using traditional cooking techniques and a focus on high-quality, authentic ingredients. This dedication to quality is even evident in unique features like their custom-made soy sauce, sourced from fourth-generation producers in China’s Pearl River Delta and dispensed from a tap behind the bar. The ambiance is another key draw—it's low-lit, moody, and undeniably trendy, offering a casual and cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for everything from a first date to a lively group dinner. With great music and several different dining spaces, including a charming back patio and a bar area, the overall experience is as engaging as the food is flavorful.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A great spot! The food is really good - while the presentation was just slightly sloppy for the dishes we ordered, they were punchy, fresh, full of flavor. We particularly enjoyed the soup dumplings which are much larger than regular soup dumplings - they were delicious, with huge servings of pork and broth. The Dan Dan mian was good, but not all that special - I would probably get the hanging pork noodles in future. Finally, the Mo’s General collaborative sandwich, BBQ Hanging Pork, was just amazing and one of the best things I’ve eaten this year. The prices are a little higher than you might expect but the portions for what we ordered were large, we ended up with leftovers, and the meal felt very homey. The service was solid, and the vibe of the place is really fun - low lighting, very moody. It’s a great place for a date, with several different dining areas and a mixture between louder and quieter tables. Cocktails looked great and we’ll definitely come back to try them!
September 02 · Blake RasmussenOk sooo 1st time every on NY read the reviews and I will say this was ok but for the price its NO! Egg drop soup as you can see is not a thick consistency like the normal giving chicken broth with eggs and ginger 🤢. Chicken Tso $26 for the small container was horrible. Had chicken fried rice literally was white rice with chicken and eggs . Please look for some something else this place was disgusting. I ate because I was hungry but man come on for price I've had way better. Maybe you just dont care what you serve people . Try it if you want lol I told you ! Go somewhere else
July 28 · Tre RogAsian fusion, honestly everything we ordered (food) was not what we expected. The cauliflower was pretty good but everything else missed expectations - unique though
June 10 · Susie SuANOTHER REVIEW INCOMING!The atmosphere and service at this place is just so welcoming. Amazing restaurant design with long lengthy hallways and plentiful outdoor seating in the back. That alone made me want to come back. The dishes were all tasty, but I did not try any pork or beef dishes so I feel as if this review is incomplete. Everything was tasty but besides the chicken dumplings I think I would order completely new items next time.Make sure they get you started with the pickled spicy cabbage. It was delicious.
August 30 · Jasraj SinghWe sat at their backyard patio. It's covered and heated which made it comfortable. The soup dumplings are notably exceptional.
