★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Amazing Vietnamese spot! The bahn mis are so delicious, shrimp summer rolls fresh, coffee strong. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Price is reasonable. Service speed is excellent. Has outdoor seatings that are lovely.
August 26 · J YWe waited for about 10 mins for a seat for a table for 7 and made sure to bring cash. Service was fast, and the food came out hot and fresh. We ordered the brisket pho, pork chop with vermicelli, and the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The pork and shrimp spring rolls were smaller than expected, but they were crispy and served piping hot. The flavors were good, though I would’ve liked a slightly larger portion. The brisket pho came with thinner noodles than I’m used to, but it worked well. There was a generous amount of brisket, and the portion was big enough to share with my daughter. It was flavorful without being overly salty. You can definitely taste the MSG—it gives the broth that rich, savory depth that makes it so satisfying. I just wish it had been served hotter; I prefer my soup hot-hot.The pork chop with vermicelli was delicious—according to my partner, who enjoyed every bite.I’d recommend both dishes. The seating is limited and the space is small, so I suggest coming early. There is outdoor and indoor seating available.
July 26 · Elaine TServers are super helpful. Food comes out very quick. Pho is delicious. Some items are cheaper when paying with cash, but everything is available to order online.
July 30 · Charmaine GuoAn absolute delight for the taste buds. We tried this restaurant randomly on a Monday and found it to be one of the few restaurants to have a line waiting. When we finally tasted the food, we understood why. Magnificent. The pho was so good, we actually returned two days later to have it again, and this time, we went early to bypass the crowds.Amazing food. Super fast service.Important note: this restaurant is cash only!
May 10 · B TI've been coming to Saigon Shack for 10+ years. I rarely get anything but the classic beef pho. It's my favorite in NYC. Big bowl, great service, reasonably priced. My order is always ready within a few minutes regardless if it's busy or not. One of my favorite spots in NYC. Friendly staff and Luisa is pretty awesome.
