★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As a local realtor of this wonderful community, I can confidently say that Sea & Soil is a gem in our neighborhood. This charming sandwich shop, run by dedicated owners who pour their heart and soul into every dish, offers a dining experience that is truly exceptional. When someone puts such care into their food, you can absolutely taste the difference.Every sandwich on the menu is unique and bursting with an array of flavors. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegan, there's something delightful waiting for you. While the vegan options are impressive, I couldn't resist the house smoked Brisket and the Lulu (check menu). Both were outstanding and left me eager to return for more.Trying their coffee is next on my list, and I can't wait to see how it complements their already impressive offerings. One unique aspect of Sea & Soil is their sliding scale pricing system. Initially, I found it a bit confusing, but once I understood the concept, I realized what a brilliant idea it is. If you have more to give, you can support the shop and your community by paying a bit extra. If you're going through a tough time financially, you can still enjoy fresh, delicious food without breaking the bank. This system reflects the community spirit that makes our area so special.I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is one spot you won't want to miss.
June 22 · Thomas P Smith NY REAL ESTATEI wish I could give this place 6 stars. Heard about it from my favorite podcast, so when I finally made it to NYC, I made the journey to this little place in a quiet Brooklyn neighborhood and couldn't have been more impressed. Best sandwich I've eaten in years--halloumi w/ hummus, roasted squash, and pickled onion on their amazing foccacia. Wish I could go back today. I also ate one of the best pastries I've ever had, a chocolate croissant with a *pretzel* finish. Wow! Just wow. Please just go there.
November 24 · Heather MatthewsWhat a treasure. This spot is worker owned and it’s such a cute little spot!! I had the MOST amazing sandwich (the Laith) and the flavors were so unique and wonderful. Will be coming back and supporting this awesome coop.
April 26 · Jasmine ChiuFeta and chili crisp pretzel roll was incredibly delicious. Great sandwich menu items that are vegan- and vegetarian-friendly! Love that this spot is worker-owned and sliding scale.
August 06 · Adora SvitakWhat an incredible little group of misfits. Coming from a bakery that is just the most adorable. I am going to get the quinoa and chickpea with carrot, pistachio, cucumber, feta, and mint.
