August 12 路 Sherry LeeConsistent and typical of your expected Chinatown dim sum restaurant. The name is misleading, but this place has one of the best dim sum selection for the shorter wait compared to House of Joy or Golden Unicorn. It seems like the original aunties and uncles from the old Jing Fong come here now.For the tourist friends or those who never had dim sum, scale your expectations. They will not have the patience for customer service. You need to be prepared to go in, point, eat, then head out. Minimal niceties.
August 13 路 Peter Huu Tran (PHT)As a Chinese, I can say with certainty that the dim sum here is very authentic and of a very high standard, not too salty or over seasoned, and it is always busy but the woman at the front desk is very patient, and it is a large venue for parties, always a perfect place for dim sum
May 04 路 hao liI recently dined at Seng Seafood Restaurant and had a delightful experience from start to finish.Atmosphere: Warm and inviting, with comfortable seating.Service: Friendly and attentive without being intrusive鈥攐ur server explained each dish clearly.Highlights: Chashu cake and Egg Tarts are amazing!!!!!Overall, Seng Seafood Restaurant offers honest, well-executed Chinese classics at reasonable prices. Whether you鈥檙e in the mood for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, it鈥檚 an excellent choice.
May 04 路 Hazel linUpdate: Had dinner here for the first time. Four of us had a nice sized table. Restaurant was lightly busy at 7:30pm in a Friday. The dinner menu was very limited. However, if you ask the manager, they can make you dishes off the menu! Was very pleased with the volume and quality of each dish. Approx $22.50/pp with soda and tea service. Would definitely go again. This place is okay for dim sum. I found the restaurant more visually appealing than the food. The restaurant looks old and worn out from the outside and staircase. However, inside was spacious, pretty, and modern looking. I was there around 12:30pm, which is towards the tail end of dim sum brunch. I didn't see much variety both in hot food and sweet pastries. I also didn鈥檛 see any vegetarian dishes! It could have been the time I was there. Next time I will go there earlier to be sure there is more variety. Waiters run around a lot, so you need to grab their attention for anything you need, like water and extra food off the menu. The waitors and managers are somewhat brusque as to be expected in Chinatown.
