Located in the vibrant Prospect Lefferts Gardens (PLG) neighborhood, & Sons is renowned for its selection of rare and curated American country hams, which are expertly sliced on a gorgeous, vintage 1910 Berkel slicer that serves as the heart of the operation.
Conceived by the acclaimed sommelier, Andre Hueston Mack, the bar pairs this distinctive menu with an exclusive, deep, and deeply personal all-American wine list. This is a place where every element, from the food to the wine and even the decor, tells a story of Americana. With its cozy, romantic atmosphere and a highly limited capacity—it is often described as a cozy, intimate 20-seat joint—a visit to & Sons Ham Bar is not just a meal, it’s a curated and highly personalized dining adventure, perfect for special occasions or an upscale, unique night out in Brooklyn.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had the perfect dining experience at & Sons Ham Bar. Our server picked out an excellent 1995 vintage blended red that was exactly what we were looking for. The food that we paired with it was all great, with a nice combination between the meat and cheese board and a few small plates - the eggs were probably our favorite of the latter. Overall, we can definitely give a strong recommendation and we would definitely return. Just make a reservation because there are only 20 seats in the restaurant!
August 20 · Traveling the WorldFantastic sliced meats and baked goods as well as a broad selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff if very friendly and knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat. The packaging is quaint and sophisticated with unique stickers and paper wrapping in lieu of plastic.Would highly recommend the ginger cookie- soft, moist, chewy and intensely ginger!
October 11 · Sabrina Paez-ParentI'm glad I came here and once but it's not the kind of place I'll regularly visit or recommend. Great food, wine selection, and cool gimmick. They serve exactly what they say they do and I can't fault them for that. The wait is long, the seats are uncomfortable (felt like I was dangling for an hour), and the tables are incredibly crammed together to maximize seating in the tiny space, I suppose. It was also super loud. Not a lovely, intimate date spot or a good place to catch up with a friend IMO. Not sure who the ambiance is for really.
September 03 · Yiyi ZhangSmall, but very cute and romantic place with great variety of wines and appetizers. We’ve decided to try olives (delicious with spicy aftertaste), bread (thanks to recommendations in other reviews) and salty meat (I don’t remember the name, but it was salty and sweet at the same time, very interesting flavor).Great experience! Highly recommend trying 😉
May 02 · Anna PagórThe service was great!! All the staff were so wonderful. Charcuterie selection is extensive and cheese pairing was good! They have a grocery store next door so if you want to buy their wine and food you can do so! It is a true gem in the neighborhood!
