★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food here is exceptionally tasty! I was lucky to stop by right at noon when they opened, so I didn’t have to wait—because it does get packed quickly (and for good reason). The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, but the highlight is definitely the food. Every dish feels homely, comforting, and absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough!
September 06 · Nika ArslanVisited Stolovaya for lunch. The Charcho and Russian-style chicken dumpling soups were excellent! The Kiev chicken (I had it with mashed potatoes and my wife had it with buckwheat) was disappointing - dry and lacking flavor, felt overpriced. Kompot was perfect. The atmosphere was good, bustling with people. Service was excellent and fast. Overall, it has a Soviet Union vibe, though the food quality back then felt better. Good for a quick bite. I'd suggest trying other items on the menu.
May 30 · Nikolay KSuch a cozy wonderful welcoming Soviet restaurant. The food was delicious the portions were very good size and for affordable price. Highly recommend. All salads and soups are as fresh as it can get!
June 18 · Aybibi AllanovaSeveral people recommended this place to me. Today, I came specifically to eat. Honestly, I wasn't particularly impressed by the food, I took half a kharcho - the taste is normal for soup, home-style fried potatoes, which were oversalted, the chicken shashlik also tasted so-so, I didn't finish it. The atmosphere - you could hear a female waitress scolding another waiter about temperature control. For me, when I come somewhere to have a tasty meal, I wouldn't really want to listen to such things, I think the employees could solve such issues after work or before the start of the shift... Overall, I give it a 3, no more.
April 24 · Guls JjA review from a Chinese person:It's quiet great to be honest. The food is delicious, the portion is huge, the price is affordable, and the server is helpful. The only inconvenience that I had is communication since basically everyone there (customers and staffs) mainly speak Russian (or maybe other slavic languages, I am not sure), so it is kinda hard to order or getting staffs' notice. But to be fair, this kind of situation happens in every ethical restaurant, like Chinese restaurants. Therefore, I don't really blame them for this, so over all, it is a nice place to go. Would recommend to others.
