★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We arrived in Tarrytown and needed to get some lunch and we just randomly picked the Tarry Tavern. SO glad we did! Everything we ordered was fantastic - even the complimentary bread they brought out was amazing. Service was great, and super friendly. Would definitely return. We had the pork cheek appetizer, the sea scallops, the halibut, and then for dessert the pear almond tart and the tiramisu. Just really great.
July 21 · Brian CoonanWe were here during a slow time and really enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The food was surprisingly good! I particularly loved the pork cheeks, lion’s mane mushroom risotto and tiramisu! It was a perfect start to our vacation in Tarrytown.
July 13 · Lindsay CoonanFood here is not only about taste but also texture. The pairing of flavors with texture makes meals here an joyable event. They also have a nice little area to sit outside and enjoy a summer evening with a glass of wine or cool drink.Staff is very friendly and host amazing events for companies. They always remember what I like and treat me very well.Sometimes the food is too pretty to eat!I also enjoy the seasonal decorations in this cozy restaurant.
October 16 · J C (Jordi)The food was good not sure i can justify the price though for what it was. A lil cramped inside and dimly lit but i guess its what gives it its rustic charm. Definitely not a casual dining experience so be prepared to spend money. Personally it wasn’t for me.
December 09 · Alexander LMy boyfriend and I love this restaurant! Not surprised they are usually busy. On busy evenings/weekends- call and make a reservation! Unless you want to risk not getting a table or possibly being sat at the bar. He lives in LI, I'm in CT, so, Tarrytown, NY is one of the 1/2 way points for us. Their food is ALWAYS good. Every dish. Appetizers. Entrees. Delicious. Great service. Good wine and cocktails. Delicious and different menu options. AMAZING New England Clam Chowder! A real must try!! We love this place! I'm sure you will too!
