★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Breakfast buffet that set me back about $50 a person with tax and tip. Tip was on my bill when it came. Food was good but I've stayed in hotels which would offer everything I saw here at this one for free with your stay, and more too. There wasn't much to it. We paid for the convenience of eating in the hotel is all. Our server was actually excellent and he brought me a small $10 cappuccino that was actually very good. So I'll give the stars for that. The food was decent. Just not worth what was paid.I will say the atmosphere is very nice. So stars for that too.
June 21 · Autumn SpringerHosted some dignitaries for dinner here and the food was delicious. Excellent service and atmosphere. If you want an authentic upscale restaurant experience that will satisfy your taste buds and make your guests happy, then check out the Stinger NYC. Try the Berry Salad!🥗
April 17 · Chichi MoviesWe had a full buffet breakfast during our stay at the intercontinental hotel in NYC . Our waiter was very attentive and brought coffee and juice right away. We went to help ourselves to the extensive buffet. The choices were great. Pastries, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal with all the accompaniments, cold cereal, eggs, bacon, potatoes! More than you could hope for on a Saturday morning.
October 07 · Jane MigdolI've been enjoying evening cocktails and breakfast here every few nights for the past 12 weeks while staying in the in the hotel weekly on business as a diamond ambassador.Tonight, I wanted to take a brief video call with my infant son and didn't have my headphones. I stepped away from the bar and found a vacant table (with a signed check, stacked with plates, napkins, and empty drinks).I was immediately accosted by the female host, who DEMANDED I move IMMEDIATELY so she could sit someone at the dirty unbussed table (he was behind her, shaking his head and pointing at a clean table he wanted to sit at).I smiled and moved away, as he uncomfortably sat and waited for the table to be bussed.I get it, its NY and I broke a rule of not having a reservation at a hotel bar with dozens of empty seats. The reaction had nothing to do with making a decision on seating a guest at a table, and everything to do with making a point to me, a guest who sat at a table without 'permission'.This is the last time I get a late night old fashioned here, and just another reason to look elsewhere for accomodations. Hey its NY and obviously loyalty is worthless here.Side note, the breakfast team, host and servers, are absolutely amazing. They make me feel welcome (after seeing me 4 days a week for 12 weeks), and do anything excellent job of keeping up with tables and any extra requests.
July 23 · GeorgeVery nice hotel buffet. Service was excellent and attentive. Buffet had nice selection of hot foods (the bacon was great!) and the pastry selection was terrific. I loved the croissant. Smoked salmon was a nice touch. Only four stars for food since was light on fresh fruit. Room was pleasant.
