Voyager Espresso Introduce
Voyager Espresso is a unique and captivating coffee shop that has established itself as a hidden gem in the bustling Financial District of New York City. Tucked away on the lower level of 110 William Street, this cafe offers a retreat from the urban grind, inviting patrons on a "journey" into the world of specialty coffee. The name "Voyager" is a nod to a sense of exploration and discovery, which is evident in everything from their carefully sourced beans to their innovative drink creations. This isn't your average coffee stop; it's a place where the art and science of coffee-making come together to create a truly exceptional product.
What sets Voyager Espresso apart is its commitment to high-quality ingredients and a deconstructed approach to coffee. As one customer noted, the experience is like a "coffee turned science experiment," with drinks served in unique ways that enhance the flavors and aromas. The shop is also known for its welcoming atmosphere, which, despite its small size, feels cozy and intimate. The staff is consistently praised for being "helpful and advising," offering recommendations and guidance on how to best enjoy your drink. This personal touch elevates the experience, making every visit feel special. The fact that the business identifies as Black-owned, Latino-owned, and women-owned adds another layer to its community-centric ethos, contributing to a diverse and inclusive environment.
The coffee itself is the main attraction, with a reputation for being a "10/10." From their "Golden Record House Blend" to single-origin options like "Guatemala Huahutenango," the focus is on quality and flavor. Even customers who don't typically stray from their usual order are impressed by the unique offerings, like a coffee with "smoked vanilla and orange syrup" that was "brilliant." The attention to detail, such as adding a strip of salty powder to balance the sweetness, showcases the deep understanding of flavor profiles. For both coffee aficionados and casual drinkers, Voyager Espresso offers a memorable and educational experience.

- Guatemala Huahutenango 12oz $19.99
Yes, Guatemala has done it again. Although the country has a well-earned good reputation in the specialty coffee world this time they amazed us with this well-balanced smooth coffee. We roasted this at a medium level aiming to highlight its syrupy sweetness while still tasting the flavor nuances that make it so special, but we have given you the opportunity to choose your roast level of preference on this one because although we found it best at a medium level it makes a great cup at light & dark level as well. The round, smooth body accompanied by the candied walnut/ golden raising aftertaste makes this for sure a cup to remember.
- Golden Record House Blend $16.99
Sweet oranges, chocolate, molasses. About this coffee: Our permanent resident espresso blend in our NY cafe. Your choice of milk will add excitement in any amount highlighting the chocolate notes, also great as a stand-alone well balanced sweet espresso shot. Notes: We take our time to put all of our coffee offerings through a meticulous selection process to ensure to only bring you the ones with the best qualities. Every bag of our whole bean coffee is shipped within 24 hours of roasting.

- Rwanda Kabirizi 12oz Bag $20.99
This mouthwatering East African light roast makes itself stand out from the crowd for its amazing sweetness paired with a high citric acidity making it a balanced experience to your palate. Starting with its fresh lavender and sweet lime aromas and fragrance followed by a mingle of orange syrup, passion fruit, and macadamia nut flavor nuances which at the same time are backed by exquisite vibrant, tart acidity and a heavy syrupy sweetness this coffee will for sure make you crave for a second cup. This offering comes from the COOPAC cooperative which is a fair trade organization committed to environmental and social sustainability in addition to producing high-quality coffee. Waste by-products from processing are used as fertilizer rather than discarded into the lake, and shade trees are distributed to farmers to prevent soil erosion. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a journey into the Voyager Espresso coffee shop! This place is in a bizarre location but at the same time makes so much sense. All I can say is, my coffee was a 10/10. I don’t normally drink coffees with syrup (you’ll see from other reviews I’m just a flat white oat milk kinda gal) but I tried a coffee which had a smoked vanilla and orange syrup in it, and it was brilliant! The coffee had a strip of powder on the top which was a little salty, so really helped to balance the sweetness from the syrup. The service was great, with staff helping with recommendation and advising on how best to drink the coffee. Highly recommend. It is a small space but we managed to sit whilst sipping on our coffees.
July 18 · Joanna LouiseThis coffee shop is amazing, definitely not one to be missed. You enter the building at 110 Williams Street and then turn right immediately and go through the doors and down the stairs. They serve high quality coffee drinks, many of them deconstructed which is so unique. Their prices are reasonable too (cheaper than Starbucks). We tried the tonic espresso with orange peel. If you have the drink there you get to experience the whole coffee turned science experiment in action. This is such a cool place, don't miss it when you are in NYC.
July 31 · Linda FranzenOne of my favorite spots! The café is located on the lower level of 110 William St — you need to enter the building and follow the signs down the stairs. It feels hidden from tourists, with just a few tables, but the presentation is beautiful and the coffee is excellent (they offer a great selection of beans!). They always serve sparkling water with your coffee, and the toasts are delicious — especially the whole grain bread, which I really appreciate as someone who pays attention to what I eat. The staff is kind, the vibe is friendly, and there’s even a chess board!
July 16 · Yaroslava LeskivGreat coffee and service. Fun vibe. It’s on the lower level near where you get the subway. Cool interior and cool way of serving coffee. Food was also great. Would buy this coffee for my house.
September 09 · Aubrey RaimondiOMG so crazy finding this hidden coffee shop that has five star ratings down in a subway station under construction. The coffee was out of this world !! Called starry orange dream sickle it was topped with some orange peel powder and lava sea salt!! The barista was amazing too!!
