7th Street Burger Upper West Side Introduce
In the competitive landscape of New York City's burger joints, where options range from gourmet to fast-food, 7th Street Burger Upper West Side has carved out a special place for itself. This no-frills, no-fuss hamburger restaurant has become a local favorite, celebrated for its simple yet perfect approach to a classic smash burger. The philosophy here is straightforward: focus on the fundamentals and execute them flawlessly. The result is a juicy, flavorful, and affordable meal that consistently earns rave reviews from a diverse crowd of college students, families, and tourists.
What sets 7th Street Burger apart is its commitment to the smash burger technique. By pressing the patty onto the hot griddle, they create a beautifully caramelized crust that locks in the flavor and juices, all while keeping the burger delightfully thin. This process, combined with their signature house sauce and a soft potato bun, results in a burger that is both nostalgic and modern. It’s a place that understands the simple pleasure of a good, greasy burger and delivers it with remarkable consistency. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or looking for a late-night meal, 7th Street Burger hits the spot every single time.

---### What is Worth Choosing
When you visit 7th Street Burger, the choice is simple, but there are a few recommendations to ensure you get the full experience. The Double Cheeseburger is the top recommendation for a reason. While the single patty is delicious, the double provides the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and bun, creating a more substantial and satisfying meal. Customers frequently advise opting for the double, as the burgers themselves are "a tad small," a common feature of the smash burger style.
The Fries are a non-negotiable side. Described as hot, crispy, and "really good," they are the perfect companion to the burger. For an extra indulgent treat, try the Loaded Beef Fries, which are topped with chopped burger meat, cheese, and the famous house sauce. For those seeking a vegetarian meal, the Impossible Burger is a standout choice, praised for being flavorful and "fire." You can also get it loaded on your fries with the Loaded Impossible Fries. Finally, be sure to ask for the House Sauce or the Ghost Pepper Sauce for dipping your fries, as the sauces are a highlight of the meal. The classic, no-frills meal of a double cheeseburger and fries is what 7th Street Burger does best, and it's a combo that will land this spot in your list of top burgers in NYC.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Went to this small burger joint with my girlfriend, who lives a few blocks away. It’s a narrow little spot near Central Park definitely more of a takeout place than a dine-in one, so I’d suggest grabbing your food and heading to the park or home. That said, if you love burgers like I do, this place is exceptional. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in New York. I got the single patty cheeseburger, and everything was on point the bun, the meat, the sauce all absolutely delicious. The fries were also really good, not a 10/10, but close, and the dipping sauce was excellent.Surprisingly affordable for NYC: the cheeseburger was about $8, fries around $5, and we paid roughly $26 total for two. It was a bit crowded, so we waited a few minutes, but totally worth it. Highly recommend this place is going straight into my top burgers list. Five stars.
July 04 · Julien GarrosGreat bang for buck smash burger spot. Chips were excellent, but the burgers a tad small. It's to be expected for the price you are paying though. Make sure to order the double patty when popping in.
September 08 · Stefan ReinkeTried 7th Street Burger on the Upper West Side and I get the hype now. I ordered a double cheeseburger with regular fries and everything hit the spot. The burger was juicy with that old school griddle flavor and the house sauce pulled it all together perfectly. Fries were hot and crispy. The place is small but full of character with walls covered in bills from around the world and some cool photo decor. If you’re in the area and craving a solid burger this is the move.
June 06 · Manfry MartinezClassic smash burger, the patties are small so suggest getting a double. It's done really well with a lot of flavor. The fries are crisp and just the right amount of salt. Great for a quick bite to eat.
August 23 · Benito CamestaNot A bad price for NYC burgers. We all got cheeseburgers and loaded fries to share. Juicy and yummy but the loaded fries were the best! Loved the sauce and the taste of the Pattie on top. Overall, would recommend to give it a try here.
