More than just a restaurant, this establishment functions as a modern American eatery, a cozy café, and a market, making it a perfect spot for various needs throughout the day. The name "Allium," derived from the Latin for bulbous herbs like onion and garlic, hints at the foundational, fresh, and deeply flavorful nature of the cuisine.

This approach results in dishes that are both inventive and comforting, built on a strong commitment to quality, fresh ingredients, often sourced from local partners like Sport Hill Farm in Easton. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wow! If I could give 10 stars, I would easily do so. The restaurant is small but what it lacks in size, it makes up in attention to detail, and an amazing dining experience. Reservations are highly recommended in order to get yourself a table. As soon as we got in, we were greeted and seated. Our server did a wonderful job of explaining the menu and answering questions. We started with the sourdough bread which is made on the premises (very good), served with a brown butter. It was served warm and was delicious. For our appetizer round we shared the pork belly. It was decadent! For our entrees my girlfriend had the duck and I had the elk. Both fishes were outstanding. This was the first time I had elk and it was so tender and flavorful. My girlfriend enjoyed her duck as well. Each enter was played beautifully. For the dessert round we shared a rhubarb tart and it was different but so good. Everyone from the staff was attentive and friendly ensuring our dining experience was top notch. We will be back.
May 24 · Andres AyalaALLIUM Eatery was absolutely amazing. A completely unique menu with palate pleasing, unique dishes. We started with a "smokey the pear" and " Immunity boost" cocktail.....both delicious! Followed that up with Dew drop cabbage with chicken and a Pork Ciabatta sandwich. Again... out of this world. We were very full but could not pass up the Rhubarb Torte....woo hoo!!!Don't miss this one... I've been told the dinner menus are even better.Small place so if you go for dinner and make sure you make a reservation!
May 22 · Dianne CamellaAllium is our go-to for date night and family dinner. It’s a guaranteed delicious meal made from farm-fresh ingredients, beautifully curated and thoughtfully prepared. And the service is impeccable. Tonight my husband and I enjoyed the zucchini blossoms, bison tartare and lamb belly to start, with a crisp Sancerre, followed by halibut and a gorgeous vegetarian entree. I’m including a photo of the menu so you can read all ingredients. Also including a photo of a juicy Pinot Noir recommenced by our server. Allium is the most consistently delectable restaurant we’ve found in Westport. Highly highly recommend.
June 20 · Laura LeedySome of the best food I ever had!! I love this place!! The service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. Highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed.
July 04 · Luis ValenciaWonderful dining experience in every way. A perfect combination of upscale delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. I think this is the first restaurant I have eaten at that requires the entire order at once that I have been happy with the pacing of the meal. Never felt rushed and there was a perfect amount of time between each course. Started with Simon’s bread with beet butter. Crusty dense bread with great flavor and the butter was delicious. Asparagus soup was so light but you got a hint of asparagus in every bite. The addition of the scallops made it luxurious. The pork belly I think was the best I have ever had. So perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The duck duo was cooked well and flavorful, the dumpling took it over the top, delicious . The steak was also delicious but cooked a little under for me. Carrot cake was great. There were no raisins in the cake ( my preference) but there were plump soft raisins on top so you could have it either way. The special dessert was pineapple cookies and sauce. Absolutely cannot describe it with justice but it was delicious, the pineapple was warm and very soft in flavor, not tangy. I think my only disappointment was the immunity boost cocktail. I was expecting a gingery spice in the flavor but it tasted like a regular margarita. A good margarita but not what I expected. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return to try more options.
