★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Alphabet Scoop is a sweet little ice cream shop that’s tucked away off the main street, but it’s absolutely worth it. Honestly, I’d rather support a small business like this than the big-name chains any day.The staff here is amazing, super friendly, helpful, and quick to offer recommendations. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and even let me sample a few flavors. I ended up going with the salted caramel in a waffle cone, and it was delicious. The ice cream is on the creamier side and the scoops are generous, so even the kids’ scoop is plenty.
August 10 · Katy RodriguezI swung by here after dinner one day for a sweet treat and it was nice. The interior of the shop is small and there is minimal seating; it's definitely a grab and go spot. Service is very nice.Unfortunately, when I went, there was no sampling available so I had to just pick a flavor and wish for the best. I ended up choosing strawberry ice cream and it was solid. The ice cream here is really creamy, milky, and a bit stretchy/thick (if you know that I mean). Not a bad spot for ice cream in the area.
June 11 · Mia HuynhCame here for a couple scoops on Saturday and was very pleased with the flavor options available — I did a chocolate fudge brownie and chocolate chip cookie dough!
September 09 · LaurenStumbled upon this little ice cream scoop shop. Fred and Destiny were so friendly and helpful, offering tastings as we were deciding on flavors. The portion size is huge — a single portion is really generous!! After that I noticed on the wall explaining that this ice cream shop is linked to the church with the goal of supporting local youths, and they were sharing more stories with us on the program. Love that there’s a meaningful mission behind it as well.
March 08 · Justine FooThe people are always so graciously kind, the helpings are always enormously delicious, making this one of the best ice cream places in lower Manhattan! I personally love splitting a sundae with my girlfriend strawberry birthday cake with sprinkles and hot fudge. But you can’t go wrong with any of their flavors.
