★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Got our wedding cake here and was very pleased how it turned out. We got a sheet cake and 2 layer cake. The price was very reasonable. Really great Asian flavors — we got taro custard in sweet cream and berries YUM. All of our guests were asian and of course it was a big hit at the fraction of the price of a more traditional wedding cake! Plus look at how CUTE it is :)P.S. My mom is taiwanese and she loves the breads here too
September 24 · KrandonExcellent tiny bakery for buns, bread, milk tea, and dessert. The Napoleon has a few bits of fruit, flaky layers, and some custard cream. It's around $7The scallion bun is soft bread with scallion on top. ~$2.50The berry bun is soft bread with frosted sugar and some blueberry filling inside. ~$3
October 24 · FoodstahamLove the taro stuffed bun and the sweet potato stuffed bun. The bread is so moist and soft and the filling is just the perfect amount of sweetness. We also got the matcha bun stuffed with red beans paste, however that one was a bit more dry and didn’t like as much.
July 27 · Isabelle JiApollo Bakery is one of our favorite bakeries in Flushing and we visit them once a week or every 2 weeks. They are well-known for their Taiwanese style pastries, which is hard to find in NYC currently. The options are in a great variety but with limited quantity, so some popular kinds would be sold out in the afternoon. Our favorites are their Custard collection like Pineapple Buns with Custard and Puff Pastry with Custard. The custard filling was creamy, rich and super satisfying. There are only 2 complaints we have for improvement: Cash Only and the decor which is humble, narrow-spaced and it's only for to-go.
December 12 · Hsin Yi WeiMy sister and I have been to this place and bought pineapple cake, and buns. The food and service were wonderful. The atmosphere was that there were people in there waiting in line looking to pick the buns or bread, and lots of Taiwanese things on Fridays to Sundays.
