Austin Cho Kitchen specializes in the art of smoked meats, with a particular highlight being the legendary, 14-hour smoked Brisket. But this is where the traditional ends and the fusion begins. It's a fantastic spot for Bergen County residents and visitors looking for a quick, high-quality meal for lunch or dinner, offering rich, excellently cooked, and fresh ingredients that stand out from the crowd. The casual atmosphere and focus on speed make it perfect for solo diners or anyone seeking a delicious, convenient bite.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This bite is located on Main Street in Hackensack. The chef is so personable and you can see the food being made right in front of you. Everything smells so good and looks even better. I ordered kimchi fries but there wasn’t any sauce and not a lot of kimchi for the price. The sandwich and meats were delicious. They have very little seating with 3 stools against the window, otherwise there are street benches right outside
June 15 · Ellianna TorresWe tried the Austin Cho, the ODB, and Cajun fries and the food was sooooo good. Excellently cooked, and fresh ingredients. Absolutely would recommend 10/10. It's a take out spot but we managed to snag the two seats right at the entrance to enjoy our tasty meal. The staff were also welcoming and sweet people.
September 18 · DreaAustin Cho Kitchen in Hackensack, NJ. ‼️NEW SPOT ALERT! Austin Cho is now open on Main Street in Hackensack. Open Tuesday-Friday 12-7 pm…you have to try the 14-15 hours smoked brisket. It’s so juicy and flavorful. November 16 · Lauren SI was really looking forward to trying this new spot in Hackensack, especially since I've enjoyed their food at their Ridgewood location, where it's always been fantastic. I even had their brisket at the Brisket King Competition in Queens this year, so having a location just a 3-minute walk from my office was exciting. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown.I ordered the Brisket Sammie for $15.00 and a side of Kajun Fries for $8.00, both of which looked great on their website. However, what I received was far from what was advertised. The sandwich was supposed to come with brisket, Fatcho BBQ sauce, slaw, remoulade, and scallions on a roll. Instead, I got about 3 oz of cold brisket on an untoasted bun with only remoulade—no slaw, no scallions, and the bun wasn’t even toasted. The Kajun fries were soggy and lacked flavor. Although they sprinkled some cajun seasoning, there was no salt or pepper to bring out any taste. For $27.97, I expected a flavorful, well-prepared meal with all the toppings and crispy, seasoned fries. Instead, the brisket was tiny, chopped-up pieces, and overall, it just fell short. The service was okay, but that couldn't make up for the disappointing food.Look at the pictuire of what was advertised compared to what I got!
September 11 · Alex VGot the Austin bowl and it was excellent. The brisket was perfect, and it’s hard to find good brisket. I would highly recommend checking them out. I’ll be back soon for sure
