What is worth choosing
For the local New Yorker on the hunt for a high-quality bagel, Bagel Club in Bayside is worth choosing for several compelling reasons that resonate with the city’s standard for freshness and flavor. First and foremost is the quality of the bagel itself. Customers frequently highlight the fluffy texture and fresh taste, a direct result of their commitment to scratch-made preparation using all-natural, unbromated flour. While some might find the lox (smoked salmon) to be basic, the core product—the bagel and the expansive, rich cream cheese selection—is what truly shines. A 'naked bagel' or one paired with a savory schmear like their popular scallion cream cheese is a consistently excellent choice and embodies the classic NY bagel experience.
Beyond the fundamentals, the Bagel Club’s menu depth is a significant draw. The 'Clubs Choice' offerings go far beyond the typical bodega fare, presenting unique and flavorful combinations. The Avoca-Duhh with its fresh avocado, lemon, onion, and everything schmear, or the inventive Jerusalem with scrambled eggs, cheese, cucumber, and za'atar-spiced labneh, provide sophisticated, satisfying breakfast options. Furthermore, the provision of both a dedicated parking lot and free street parking is a huge practical advantage in Queens, drastically simplifying the visit compared to many other city eateries. This combination of culinary quality, menu variety, and high accessibility makes Bagel Club a top choice for a dependable, delicious, and distinctly New York breakfast or lunch in the Bayside area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bagels are good. The bread is great but it's more their sandwich I don't really like. As a lox bagel lover, I car a lot about the salmon quality. And the one I ordered at Bagel Club was not very tasty. The kind of very basic salmon.I even preferred the sandwich with the chicken coleslaw. The service was the bare minimum and the atmosphere there is a bit "cold".It's a good place for naked bagels or at least with cream cheese !
May 10 · LéaA Must-Visit Bayside Brunch SpotThis Bayside eatery serves up delicious bagels and cream cheese, perfect for a Sunday brunch. Be prepared to wait in line, as it can get quite busy. I arrived at noon on a Sunday and there were already about 10 people in line. The bagels are fresh and fluffy, and the cream cheese is rich and creamy. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, so you're sure to find something you like. I highly recommend the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. The service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. This is a great spot for a casual brunch with friends or family.
November 03 · Keunho “Ryan in NYC” RheeI've been coming to this place for years and each time the bagels are always fresh and warm at a good price. I can't say much on the very wide variety of spreads because I personally haven't had them but I've heard from the people I know who did try them say its quite enjoyable with the bagels as well. The people there are also pretty friendly as well.
January 10 · Alexander FernandezI didn't know, is there a legit 'bagel club?' Found this spot via google maps and thought to give it a try while waiting for my nearby coffee shop to open. Today, before 8am the place was quiet. Only one other customer, who was engaged in a conversation with the guy behind the counter. The shop is spacious and the fact that it wasnt busy and the food items for sale were very spread out, made the place seem very big, too big for the amount of business seen and lack of table seating. It was clean though. Customer service was ok. Straight forward.I went with the sunflower seed (flat) bagel. Not a usual bagel flavor of other bagel shops. It is actually very good. A lot of seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, go for it. I guess it is flat to accomodate all the seeds.I also grabbed two pumperknickel and one everything toasted with cream cheese. The everything wasnt toasted enough for my liking. There was a decent amount of creme cheese.Overall the vibe was off, very quiet for a weekday morning. Maybe they are more of a mid-day lunch spot. They had everything a bagel shop typically has e.g. cream cheese flavors. But not heaping amounts of each compared to City locations which anticipate much more business. While it is a decent place, i wont pick this club over others if I had to choose.
February 01 · MichaelGreat bagels and spreads. Place is always busy in the morning so I usually go after the rush. My go to order is a toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. I wish they had hot breakfast options but the cold egg spreads will do.
