★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Thought I’d try this halal cart out, I was starving. But I should’ve known better when he made my plate in less than 30 seconds. That is would in fact be thee worst halal food/chicken over rice I have ever had in my ENTIRE life, and I’ve had a fair share. The rice tastes like it was cooked using sewer water, no seasoning like the other carts. It’s not standard anything, whoever left that review was lying. My food was made with no love whatsoever. Very thin layer of chicken and a lot of rice, iceberg lettuce and some other stuff I had to ask to be added (they won’t unless you ask). The fries were not only stale but he didn’t even put that watery white sauce on it lmao I feel like if he sauced it up it would’ve been aight 😭😭 You’d think it would be decent because it’s in front of America’s most legendary hospital, they have an A rating but I’m honestly not so sure about all that. There are two carts, I went to the one labeled Bellevue halal cart thinking it would be better.I wouldn’t mind paying extra for a fresh plate, but I can see how this could be clutch in a pinch.
February 20 · Mathanika KanagaEasily my favorite food cart on the East side. The lamb over rice is outstanding, and the pricing is incredibly reasonable. Staff are always kind and the service is fast. An amazing place to stop for late night eats. Can't recommend this cart enough.
September 17 · Brian ChastainNah I showed up at 1:17 am and they had no chicken and that fair. So I got the lamb over rice and there was nothing to it the lamb was basically burnt pita. Sauces salad and rice were up to standard. I feel with chicken would be better
November 09 · Arvid HossainAmazing. I recommend it. The lamb over rice with white sauce is really good. Very reasonable prices and staff are really nice.
