Bondi Sushi Reviews
Honestly, I felt a bit ripped off at this spot. I ordered the Tuna Bowl for $24 thinking it would be a solid, protein-packed meal. Instead, it was about 75% rice (bed of rice covering the entire base), cucumbers, fruits, onion and mayo, with small portion of tuna thrown in.For that price, I was expecting something more filling and balanced definitely not a mostly-rice bowl. I've attached a photo so you can see what I mean. I really don't think this price is justified for what's basically a fancy rice bowl with barely any tuna. I kinda feel gross after eating all that rice and mayo coz I was hungry and at work.I prefer my regular poke bowl instead.
July 30 · Megs SDecent sushi spot with good setvicei. Biggest criticism is the value. Quality is not commensurate with the amount or quality of the food. Servers are pretty friendly and efficient.
June 01 · Roman RabinovichI'm in love with this place, all the workers are very friendly, I love the taste of the fish, especially the salmon, I would come back a thousand times more.
July 09 · Adalinda MoreiraMe and another black woman walked in and received no welcome from anyone. 2 groups of nonblack patrons walked in and received a welcome. Put an extremely bad taste in my mouth. 2 ladies rolling sushi were staring at me like I was unwelcomed while I was looking at the menu, as it was my first time eating here. The cashier was extremely nice though. Would appreciate if you didn’t prejudge patrons by their appearances, especially in an area where there are many black students like myself looking for quality food that isn’t unhealthy.
September 04 · Lexi A.Bondi Sushi is a whole vibe — the food was insanely good and the staff? So kind and welcoming. 10/10, can’t wait to go back.
