C'mon Everybody Introduce
Introduction / Overview
New York City's nightlife scene is famously vibrant, but few venues offer the unique blend of community focus, artistic diversity, and welcoming atmosphere found at C'mon Everybody in Brooklyn. Located squarely on the border of Bed-Stuy and Clinton Hill, this establishment transcends the typical 'night club' label, operating successfully as a multifaceted gay bar, live music venue, and arts space. It is a genuine Brooklyn gem, proudly identifying as both Latino-owned and LGBTQ+ owned, a commitment to diversity that is evident in its programming and inclusive crowd. Inspired by the energy and cultural richness of 1970s New York City, C'mon Everybody cultivates a space where all walks of life can co-exist, united by the shared experience of great music and art. The front room is a lively, full-service bar, while the back boasts an intimate performance space complete with a disco ball, ensuring there’s plenty of room for dancing and catching a show. Whether you're seeking a stellar drag performance, an up-and-coming musical act, or just a friendly spot for exceptional drinks, C'mon Everybody consistently delivers a high-energy, positive experience, living up to its name which is a direct nod to a classic Chic track that acts as both an invitation and a command to join the party. Its dedication to fostering community and uplifting those who have often struggled to fit into the broader NYC arts scene makes it a critical cultural cornerstone in the Bed-Stuy and greater Brooklyn landscape. The venue's mission is to promote inclusion and celebrate all types of art and music, providing a refreshing counterpoint to the city's sometimes overly commercialized entertainment options.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a fun spot! I don’t want to age myself, but the vibe here totally threw me back to the 90s club kid days—like I could’ve run into Michael Alig himself. The staff was super friendly, the show I caught was a blast, and the crowd was full of cool, welcoming people. Definitely a place I’d go back to for more good times.
September 08 · Jenny D (Citybird_Adventures)Great local queer bar with great vibes and fun parties! Jamie the bartender is wonderful! Lotería (Mexican drag bingo) is our favorite event (every first Tuesday of the month).
September 14 · Mark Stratton Jr.Cute and queer gathering place with fun events and shows! Main detraction is the beverage program — their house cocktails are sugary / syrupy enough to give you a hangover sans booze. Do your tastebuds and bank account a favor and order a beer or spirit with soda.
September 05 · Laine DirnbergerThis is a really cool spot, from the bar selection to the lighten, it has everything you’d need for an evening (especially on a Friday) wind down. The bar caters to most taste and is stocked to offer a variety sure to satisfy most thirsts. The lounge area is spacious, clean, and filled with music just loud enough to add to the atmosphere without being deafening or forcing you to yell over it. The back room where the stage is has a smaller bar which is a nice touch, and the lighting and smoke machine definitely add to the appeal of an already nice place.
June 08 · Stefan TrotmanThe security saw a group exiting a taxi to go to this bar.Said we were not allowed in because she is a professional and does not need to speak to any one of the group to know we were not capable of entering the bar because of intoxication.Mind you this is a ‘bar/club’ that serves alcohol.Way before the time of closure. However, I am happy to have this experience as I will continuously advocate to everyone I know to never try this place since they are very disrespectful and absolutely not worth trying.I hope the security guard will be supporting the opening of this location.Ps. I’m typing this review standing outside of the bar.
