When you visit Caravan Chicken, the menu offers a delightful journey through Peruvian and homestyle flavors, but some dishes truly stand out. The first and most essential choice for any visitor is the chicken. Whether you opt for a half or a whole chicken, you will not be disappointed. Patrons consistently rave about its incredible tenderness and deep, savory flavor. A popular order is the combination of 1/2 Chicken with Pork Fried Rice or French Fries, which provides a complete and satisfying meal that perfectly showcases the restaurant's strengths. The fried rice, while simple, is a great complement to the chicken, and a little bit of the hot sauce available at the restaurant can elevate it even further.
Beyond the chicken, the Lomo Saltado is another must-try. This classic Peruvian dish features tender strips of beef stir-fried with onions, tomatoes, and french fries in a savory sauce. It's a hearty and flavorful plate that's a true fan favorite. For those who love ribs, the BBQ Spare Ribs are also highly recommended. They are known for being moist, flavorful, and a generous portion. The menu also includes a variety of Lo Mein and Fried Rice dishes, providing a comforting blend of Latin and Asian influences. Side dishes like Salchipapas (sliced hot dogs and french fries) and Fried Sweet Plantains are perfect for sharing or adding an extra layer of flavor to your meal.
In short, Caravan Chicken is a no-frills spot that perfectly hits its niche: delicious, affordable, and comforting food. The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and the overall experience is warm and welcoming. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to again and again for a quick, casual, and incredibly satisfying meal. While you should be mindful of the payment process by bringing cash, the quality and taste of the food make it well worth the visit.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A food reviewer that I know of did a review of an Asian fusion place so it sparked an idea of where to go for lunch today. This place was only a 4 minute walk from the Blink Gym I frequent so not a hard decision to head there.Small gripe I'd have to address before I get to the meat of the review. I'd strongly advise paying cash at this establishment. They do have a card/cashless option but the machine they got is very dated. I initially used one of my cards with digital currency which doesn't have a PIN as a prompt, it should be instant access but it kept asking for a PIN and by how old that card reader was, didn't have the option to bypass that so I had to use my credit card, which I didn't want to at the time but went with it. Thankfully I didn't have the uncomfortable situation a lady after me had when she ordered her food by card, having an issue about being charged $45 for her food saying the card reader charged her a different price than what her order was initially supposed to be. Thank God my card wasn't robbed like that but for real, that place needs to invest in a newer and better card reader.Wow that was a lot I got out of my chest, I apologize that y'all had to read all of that before I got to the review, lol. Payment struggles aside, I got something simple, half a chicken w/ pork fried rice and salad. The rice is okay but it's nothing some hot sauce doesn't fix and the place has that in spades. Salad is salad, nothing more, nothing less but the Chicken is absolutely delicious. Pretty tender, juicy and none too dry. Well worth the $16 I paid it for. That also included the soda I picked, Inka Cola and it's absolutely spot on, definite recommend. Also the place in general, fairly narrow but plenty of seating, pretty middle of the road. You can get a good meal but do take note to bring some cash with you, so you won't have to worry about any card mishaps from their very obsolete looking card readers.
August 13 · Sledge WilliamsI tried the 3 Pc. Spare Ribs and 1/4 Chicken with Pork Fried Rice ($21). The chicken was extremely juicy and tender, and seasoned super well. The ribs were also moist, seasoned, and flavorful. The addition of the salad and rice were a nice compliment to the meat. The portion sizes are generous too, and this could be two meals if you’re not super hungry. Though this isn’t the best food I’ve had, this spot hits its niche perfectly. It’s a no-frills spot that offers delicious food at an affordable price. Would definitely come again if I want some quick casual food to eat.
June 01 · Andy LiuFire Peruvian spot — got half a chicken with crispy skin, rice, and my fave Inca Kola for $16. So good. Definitely hittin’.
May 18 · LucasDelicious chicken (4.5/5) at affordable prices. Get the half chicken ($13) and pork fried rice: you won't regret it. The chicken is succulent, moist, and tender and with the green sauce is just absolutely delicious. The passion fruit drink (3/5) is good too.
September 03 · Christi BalakiToo Salty chicken but love the green sauce very spicy very good. Ribs were not very smoky and quite fat. Chicken with broccoli was just ok would be better in purple onions for my personal preference. I like the broccoli tho it was crunchy.
