★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recently dined at this bar restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, blending traditional Georgian decor with modern touches. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.I started with khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), and it was incredible — warm, cheesy, and perfectly baked. The khinkali (dumplings) were juicy and flavorful, filled with well-seasoned meat. I also tried the chicken, which was tender and aromatic with spices. Also I enjoyed a classic Georgian beer Kazbegi.Definitely I recommend this place! Thank you 🇬🇪
May 11 · TatianaThe Cheeseboat was completely empty when we came for dinner apart from 2 chefs and 2 waiters. The dishes were undercooked and seemed to be just taken out of the freezer. The service was good with only us in the restaurant, and the portions were big. Our family was expecting real Georgian food, but this was not very authentic.
April 17 · Polina BrownThis place is absolutely awesome and I can't more highly recommend it! The cheeseboats themselves are incredibly perfect - each part, from fluffy bread to rich creamy cheese to large tasty shrimp or steak are outstanding, but the result is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.Yet that was nothing compared to the world class soup dumplings, full of flavorful broth, generous portions of beef filling, and the most perfect dash of fresh cracked black pepper on top. Absolutely incredible. Do yourself a favor and try them if you have any love for soup, dumplings, or both!If I had to share any complaint or negative the music was a bit loud and mix of songs eclectic, with some awesome jazzy electric guitars and some more jarring poppy selections that didn't 100% match the vibe. But they could pipe in blasting nails on chalkboards instead of music and I'd still come back for the food, especially the soup dumplings!
April 21 · Peter CancroWe stumbled upon this place while wandering Brooklyn on our final day visiting NYC. We just wanted a drink and to rest our feet. However, after reading the menu, we had to try some of the food. We have never tried Georgian food before and it was amazing! We got a couple appetizers and the Borscht, and everything was delicious. Definitely want to go back and try a Cheeseboat! The vibe was so chill and cozy, and our server George was kind, attentive and welcoming! 10/10 recommend!!
January 06 · Melissa KennedyWe absolutely loved it!The location is perfect, the establishment is decorated in a cozy way, so traditional and with a lot of history. The waitress was so kind and attentive, always smiling and enjoying the vibe of the place. The food was the best part, we ordered two cheeseboat spritz, really refreshing. The hummus was delicious, with the warm and toasted pita bread for the starter. Then, the cheeseboat steak with mushrooms, the bread was so soft and the meat tender and savory, even the mushrooms (I don't like mushrooms) were really good, a lot of cheese of course. The only suggestion, please give better knives 😅.But 10/10. We're going back.
