★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Last night was my first time going to this establishment and in the beginning, it was fine, but when it came to me ordering food, the lady taking my order had an attitude. Then when I tried to eat my soup, there was HAIR in my food. Not only was it in my soup, but there was HAIR in my chicken and rice meal as well. I will not be recommending this place.
August 17 · Stephanie WalkerHands down the best Jamaican restaurant in Queens! I've been a regular here since my hairstylist moved to this location, and I've never had a bad meal. The authenticity is spot on - it's like a taste of home. Unlike some other Jamaican spots that disappoint, this place consistently delivers. I've tried the stew peas, fish soup, jerk pork, jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, and curry goat, and every dish is top-tier. But what really makes the experience stand out is the staff - the servers are super friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. If you're looking for authentic Jamaican flavors and top-notch service, look no further
September 28 · Romar rangerI saw this spot and opted to try it. Ordered delivery after I called to confirm if they deliver. I ordered a small curry chicken and 1/4lb of jerk pork. 40 minutes later and I received a very small jerk chicken and white rice. As soon as the driver was walking down my path, I thought hmmn..well that bag looks awfully small. It was. I called the restaurant and the young lady apologized and said it was her mistake as she neither checked or confirmed the order. She said she could send it to me but they have no delivery person.I asked for the owner/supervisor??No one. Which is unfortunate, you must have someone in place if something like this happens.I re-ordered but just the small curry chicken. Not sure I would buy from here again. This has to be a joke. Do not buy from here.
June 12 · RaineI don't know what these people doing, DON'T CHANGE A THING... the food is the best in queens, curry goat on point, jerk pork lashing hard... only gotta try their stew peas now.
August 22 · David LezamaI got food somewhere else...I really wanted to give this place a try since it's under a new brand and management. Sad to say it is just as horrible as the other failed attempts this venue has tried in the past with Jamaican cuisine.First of all, the food looks low grade. One or two ingredient dishes that are soggy and shredded like they came out of a can.Secondly, they give the illusion of a buffet style restaurant where you have choice over what you order, when that isn't the case at all. If you want to pair two items, they will count it as 2 separate meal orders with fixed sides. For example, I ordered ackee and saltfish with callaloo and fried dumplings. Only to be told, the ackee and callaloo cannot be paired and the dumplings are also a separate order. The staff were unwilling to cooperate even after opting to pay for each thing individually and then argued that that's not how it works.Do yourself the favor and avoid this place. Walk down Suthin Blvd to 111th Ave and go to Kelly D restaurant instead. I got exactly what I asked for with no upcharge.
