★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Where to begin... Chelsea Living Room is one of those places that just gets it right. Great lighting, music always on point, and a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The food is insane. The seasonal watermelon salad is so fresh and full of flavor, and the lobster pasta is hands-down my favorite thing on the menu. You can taste the care and see the attention to detail that goes into every dish. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome without overdoing it. Little things like remembering what you ordered last time or checking in at just the right moment really makes a difference (can't remember a time I've been where my drink was empty for more than 30 seconds).By far one of my favorite, if not favorite restaurants in the city. 10/10 would recommend.
August 11 · Haig BakhtiarianThe worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, I made a reservation in advance, when I arrived they gave me my table, shortly after a guy just served me water and left, approximately 20 minutes passed and absolutely NO ONE came to my table and when I say never I really mean never, I want to note that the restaurant was not busy at all, probably 20% capacity. when the table next to me left the guy who seemed to be the manager approached to clean that table and I let him know that no one had served me yet, he apologized and asked me what I wanted, I gave him my complete order (drink and food) because at this point I knew perfectly well everything I wanted, I received the drink (nothing special) 10 minutes later I received the food (it was good but nothing special) after receiving the food again ABSOLUTELY NO ONE came to my table to make sure of anything, I had to get up from the table and ask for my check because they were not even capable of doing that. really disappointing, I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant but it was definitely a total failure.
August 12 · Maria ParrilloOverall rating: 4.7Paid: $192 w/ tax & tip (per person; total 2)So I haven’t heard of this place before but when my friend wanted to go, always down. I watched a few Toks beforehand and it seemed like a overhype spot. I was definitely mistaken and pleasantly surprised! The hostess and staff was so nice. I absolutely love the wallpaper. It was my friend’s last night in NYC after a few years so naturally we went all out. Items we ordered:- crispy cheese & caviar (aka mozz stick) 4/5 good but not sure if it’s repeatable- Cacio e Pepe chicken pot pie: 5/5 having never had pot pie, thought this was a great price point and delicious- Caviar service kaluga: 4/5- Rosemary shallot chunky fries: 1/5 not good. Stress on the word, crispy. Didn’t even have a fun dip.- Complimentary Sundae dessert: 4/5 super fun & throw back. But way too much for 2x people. Better with 3 or more.
June 01 · Olivia NI came by The Chelsea Living Room last night after hearing about it on Tik Tok.The chicken pot pie & lobster pasta was delish along with the Burger with an order of the hand cut fries..quality!I brought my 5 friends from out of town and loved the cocktails, food and the vibe so much so that we ended up staying way longer for more drinks and dancing as the crowd was late 20’s w a great dj etc.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a NY Speakeasy Lounge vibe. Will be back soon.
