★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved the vibe here. Great, friendly service. Relaxed and chill bartender, but attentive and friendly. Decent margaritas at a reasonable price. Liked the crowd, too. All different types of folks hanging out and having a good time jamming to some old school classics. Played UNO as we imbibed. 😁
July 07 · Amelia KetzleThis is my favorite place to come. I feel so welcomed. Drinks are affordable, the bartenders are so charming and accommodating. The music is a vibe. Monday to Sunday. It’s become my go to spot. Definitely worth a visit.
June 09 · Juawana RobertsI feel ripped off. I was trying to tell the bartender about how the drinks was kind of weak. It tasted more like lemon than vodka. I’m sad I was trying to share how I felt but my opinion was received with conflict and like she wanted to argue. Please be more hospitable, sometimes customers want to give some feedback you don’t have or need to react so harshly. I won’t come back here ever I hope you enjoy your tip.
June 01 · Tomas WilliamsI visited One Trick Pony on August 29th, 2025 around 2:45 AM, hoping to try something new in the Village. Unfortunately, the service I experienced left me walking out almost immediately. The bartender on duty with black hair and glasses was more focused on drinking and playing pool with friends than serving guests. When she finally came over, I asked for a simple glass of house red. Instead of pouring a proper glass, she dumped about 1.5 ounces, the last of a bottle, into a glass and charged me ten dollars. When I asked about the rest of the pour, she brushed it off with the line “It’s a dive bar babe, get with it.” She was frantic, angry, and it felt a bit racial.Even other guests around me commented on how small the pour was. The bartender was clearly intoxicated and more interested in entertaining her friends than working. At that point I told her I was good, closed out, and left.As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can recognize a busy shift or a mistake. This was neither. This was blatant disregard for professionalism and hospitality. If management is unaware, this is a serious reflection on how their staff represent the establishment.I have been to many dive bars across the city, and this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have had. If One Trick Pony wants to maintain any credibility, this kind of behavior should never be acceptable.
August 30 · Iam Jus'BSteph appeared kind and welcoming but I was mistaken. I asked for a beer and a shot, to which she said cash or card before pouring. I asked if this was McDonald’s to which she replied im too busy wait on you to decide. I obliged and gave her cash I asked for a Jameson and a bud and when I turned back to see what she opened it was a bud light not a Budweiser. When I asked her to swap it out she said I’ve heard enough from you, threw my money back at me and took both drinks away.I’ve frequented this establishment many times and had a great time. I was taken back by her behavior but decided not to engage despite showing up for a bday.I was so excited to celebrate in a familiar place but I guess it wasn’t my night. I hope that she isn’t so hostile and finds a way to live, laugh, love and enjoy fellowship and friendly patrons.Until then I’ll take a break from ever showing up when she’s working.P.S. She also takes liberties to skip multiple songs on touch tunes even though credits are not free. I would hate to think it was a personal vendetta
