Cherry Valley Deli Reviews
I recently visited Cherry Valley and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The customer service left much to be desired; the person who took my order over the phone was not only unhelpful but also seemed slightly rude, which set a negative tone for my visit. When I finally received my food, I was shocked at the quality given the price. The French toast was simply toasted sliced bread with a light dusting of powdered sugar, no egg or cinnamon—not at all what I expected. Additionally, the bacon was undercooked, which was a stark contrast to what I remembered from my previous visits.Since the change of ownership, it seems that the quality of food has declined significantly. I had high hopes for my meal, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return. I hope they can address these issues and improve both their service and food quality in the future.
May 18 · Taina BillipsThe bread was very fresh for a sandwich that I ordered at 9PM. I’m a bit disappointed the BLT hero I ordered was more of a lettuce and tomato hero…where’s the bacon. I’ve never been served a BLT ever with 3 pieces of bacon on the sandwich. For $13, I expected better.
March 23 · Michael KakishIf you are a deli in the NYC Metro area (and this includes Long Island), there is one sandwich that you must make well. That is the Baconeggandcheeseonaroll. This establishment does NOT make that sandwich well at all. I've been here twice, and each time it was very lacking in quality. While the bacon and cheese were decent, the rolls BOTH times were kinda stale. But the thing that you would think you would never have to complain about in a BEC, was the most egregious miss: not nearly enough egg on the damn thing. And for a sandwich that they sell for over $7.00? C'mon man. I can make a better BEC myself on my griddle at home.If this sandwich is indicative of the rest of their menu...stay away from Cherry Valley. I think the one in Whitestone is better. Way better than this.
September 23 · Anthony LewisLOVE IT 🫶❤️🔥🤤 And Thank You To My Favorite Guy That Helped me with A Beautiful Smile Every time...Meeting new people as I travel on a weekly is Amazing thank you Human Beings like you 💚🔥❤️
June 22 · Megon GoingsI have been coming here for years. The service is good usually speedy. But over the years the quality of the food is just plummeting. The food is always fresh but the portions of the sandwiches such as the chicken cutlet are off. Now I am a super understanding person when it comes this but the best they can do is try to make it even on both sides. I left the receipt below so you can see the prices of these low quality sandwiches. Now they did offer me my money back but that’s not the point as a returning customer I just want well portioned food. I asked if they could just remake them and they did without a problem. Other than that they did not offer anything for the time I had to waste to come back. The taste is great- just you’ll be only getting one half of a sandwich. 👍🏾 Waste of time and money
