September 01 · Lauren RoperThis place has almost everything I want in a Chinese restaurant. Thoughtful, authentic and elevated food with very reasonable prices. Elegant atmosphere. Lovely servers who give great recommendations. The jellyfish ceviche was the most bold dish on the menu and it was incredible. The fried chicken (app) reminded me of home but the hot honey paid homage to the neighborhood Greenpoint. It was so juicy and might be my favorite fried chicken in NYC. The peppercorn icecream is fun and mapo tofu hits the spot.Only thing is I wish there's cocktails ☺️.Had an unexpectedly meaningful meal and I wish there are more places like Chiko!
August 02 · Kaiwen ZhongI visited this place during my trip to New York. After days of eating nothing but burgers, pizza, and bagels, I was craving something more comforting — and I finally found it here. The mapo tofu and dan dan noodles hit the spot perfectly. The seasoning was just right, and they served a generous portion of rice. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. If I had discovered this place earlier, I would’ve come back several times during my trip. It’s truly a perfect restaurant for anyone who enjoys Korean-style flavors!
July 17 · hh hhThe poor ratings from others made me hesitant, but my meal was fine. The employees here are exceptional. The cuisine satisfies while the servers excel. The restaurant's spotless condition matches its cool feel. The restaurant experience was completely fulfilling.
September 08 · Shelley HarrisonThere are inadequate words to describe how good Chiko is. I come here probably once a month, and the fact that there isn’t a line down the street every day blows my mind. This food is remarkably delicious.Birds of a Feather, Cafe China, Szechuan Mountain House, Ma La Project, Antidote, etc.—respectfully step aside. Chiko takes Chinese food to a new level.Everything is good, but the chicken steak is the star. Thank you for your amazing work, Chiko team!
