Situated on Jamaica Avenue, a major artery, China Garden benefits from high visibility and easy access for local foot traffic. For New Yorkers relying on public transportation, its placement within a well-connected area is a significant advantage. While not explicitly detailing subway or bus lines, its Jamaica Ave address positions it within a highly trafficked and essential commercial corridor. Residents in the 11207 zip code and adjacent areas view this spot as a highly convenient option for either a pickup order or a delivery request. In a dense city like New York, having a consistently accessible local spot is a major convenience, saving valuable time and effort.
China Garden distinguishes itself not through high-end décor, but through its commitment to serving the needs of its community at all hours and with a friendly disposition.

When deciding where to get your next Chinese meal in Brooklyn, China Garden offers several compelling reasons to choose them. The primary draw is the dependable quality of the food. It’s consistently reviewed as "good food" that hits the spot, fulfilling the craving for familiar Chinese-American classics. For a neighborhood takeaway, this reliability is paramount and arguably the most important factor for repeat business.
Additionally, their critical offering of late-night food makes them a lifesaver for residents on an unconventional schedule. In a dense, bustling city where convenience reigns supreme, knowing there's a reliable spot for a quick bite or a full dinner well into the evening is a significant advantage. This combination of consistent food quality, operational hours, and a friendly service (when reciprocal) makes them a local institution.
However, as a savvy New York customer, it is always wise to be aware of the nuances of local businesses. Some feedback suggests vigilance regarding delivery orders, particularly a note about potential unstated delivery fees ($1-$3) and the expectation of a separate tip from the delivery personnel. While the service may be quick, doing the math on the menu versus the final charge is recommended for full transparency. Also, for items like extra wings, be aware that portions can occasionally be inconsistent. By being an informed customer, you can ensure your experience remains positive and predictable. Ultimately, China Garden remains a highly valuable neighborhood resource, offering exactly what many New Yorkers need: fast, tasty, and convenient Chinese takeaway. Stop by or call in your order to experience this local Brooklyn staple for yourself.

February 22 · CosmoFoods taste good, It’s good food.Only problem you should be aware of is that sometimes when you order extra wings they give you some really messed up ones or really small ones just because you ordering extra wings they look at it as it’s no problem and “free delivery” misleading information with them. They’ll add a delivery fee between $1-$3 to your order without saying it, plus when your food get delivered the delivery personnel is also expecting an extra tips from you. So your tipping twice without knowing. Don’t believe me? Do the math from their menu and place a delivery you’ll see they Pretty clever.
August 24 · Highcloudx7 A’JThis is the MOST GHETTO Chinese food store I've been to. It's obvious that they willingly rent out the front waiting area to neighborhood street pharmacists. This spot is HOT. Always mad dudes in there sipping on something, and the owners seem to have allowed it all. Maybe that's how they pay their rent, cuz I'm sure the heavy hood presence has scared some regulars away. Food quality is just Aight! Bright side: They deliver!
March 12 · Bernard MilesSpent 40 on some nasty a$$ food … I’ll never in my life order Chinese again. I’m sick of getting played smh my kids hated it.
November 10 · Carter CarterReview overdue. I order like around 8pm and at 2am woke up vomiting the food. Had food poisoning sick for like 3 days before I started feeling better.
