The best coffee store in town. I don't drink coffee, but the tea there is amazing. I received a standard medium black tea for $4. In addition, they exclude any sweetener, so make sure to add your own sugar (I learnt the hard way). As I was buying my lunch, Jeff Buckley's "Lover, you should've come over" came on, and I nearly collapsed in heartbreak. The vibes are calm and composed. The music is neither excessively loud nor inaudibly quiet. Indoor seating is also convenient, with a limited number of tables but enough of space to do assignments. - maya c

An Overview of Colson Patisserie: Your Daily Parisian Escape in Brooklyn

For discerning New Yorkers, the search for the perfect start to the day often leads to a genuine patisserie, a place where the aroma of fresh-baked goods mingles with the rich scent of quality coffee. Colson has carved out a distinct niche for itself by focusing on exceptionally high standards across all its offerings. It is not just a popular Breakfast restaurant; it is also a well-regarded local Bakery and a friendly neighborhood Cafe. While it may not feature an extensive hot breakfast menu, its strength lies in what it does best: exquisite baked goods and top-tier beverages. The pastries are a clear highlight, noted by customers for their exceptional quality and taste—a true testament to the skill involved in their production. This focus on "Great dessert" quality extends seamlessly to their morning offerings, making every croissant, scone, or Danish a delightful indulgence.

From a simple, perfectly brewed black tea (as one customer noted, served without sweetener, allowing for personal customization) to a satisfying pastry platter, Colson Patisserie is the go-to spot for those who believe breakfast should be an experience, not just a necessity. This dedication to craft and quality has cemented its reputation among Brooklynites as a premier destination for their morning ritual and catering needs alike.
