Correita El Paisa Reviews
Can't get enough of the authentic, freshly prepared Colombian cooking. The ladies who run this warm and cozy place serve up delicious breakfast specials, all with arepas and Mexican cheese. Their Mini Paisa has a little bit of all the Colombian specials including beef, fried pork, avocado, rice n'beans. Seafood dishes like Shrimp Scampi, ceviche, fried parga, and the yummy bowl of cazuela de mariscos are matched by the platter of fried parga (a red snapper) drenched in a tomato crema. My husband loves their chili with beef and beans, chicken chaufa (fried rice) and grilled meats. Fresh yuca fries, tostones, maduros and a rich garlic sauce add to the rich flavors.
June 15 · Kyle McCarthyYesterday I ordered chuleta empanizada de cerdo with rice and tostones for my mother and a pechuga empanizada with salad and maduras for myself. Needless to say, when we received the order both the chuleta and pechuga were not fully cooked and the sides weren’t even what I ordered! I called to speak to a manager and was told that he wouldn’t be in until the afternoon and the girl that I was speaking with didn’t offer a resolution. I through both orders away. This place should be embarrassed of what they are charging for what they are serving. I paid over &20/order! I have fought the charge with my bank. Disgusting food and customer service. I will never order from here again.
February 08 · Maria LopezThe food was awful and I was really disappointed. The steak was dry, over-cooked, and needed flavor. The rice was decent. The arepa was dry and stale and cheese needed salt. I ordered the bunuelo but instead they gave me a croissant, I wish they would’ve called me and told me they don’t have bunuelos anymore, I would’ve preferred to take it off the order than receive the croissant. The flan was the worst flan I ever had in my life. I was shocked they actually served it to me. It looked and tasted like it was at least 1 week old.
August 22 · L.B.I had their lunch special today. It consisted of a bowl of chicken soup which was excellent. White rice, fried Chicken (3pieces), sweet plantains and the salad that was mixed with coleslaw. It also included a soda. Everything came out to $8.50 including tax. It was all great. I will definitely return.
March 06 · Angel CorderoWent during lunch time. Was able to eat and be out within the hour. Service was great and fast. The food had an authentic home meal taste. Brought back memories. Portions are great for the price. Only thing I would of liked was homemade empanadas instead of the frozen kind. Would go again.
