Zibetto Espresso Bar Introduce
In a city that prides itself on its coffee culture, Zibetto Espresso Bar stands out by bringing a distinctively European experience to the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This is not your average American coffee shop with sprawling seating and endless customization options. Instead, Zibetto embraces the traditional Italian espresso bar model: a place for a quick, perfect cup of coffee, often enjoyed while standing at the counter. This focused approach on quality and efficiency has made it a beloved spot for those who appreciate the true art of espresso. For many New Yorkers, Zibetto is a cherished daily ritual, a quick and effective way to get a dose of caffeine and a moment of European calm amidst the city's chaos.
The atmosphere at Zibetto is a refreshing change of pace. It's casual yet professional, with a minimalist design that puts all the emphasis on the coffee itself. The space is narrow, with limited seating, encouraging a fast-paced, in-and-out flow of customers. This design is intentional, replicating the classic Italian experience of a quick, social coffee break. Despite the high volume of customers, the service is known for being friendly and efficient, ensuring that you get your expertly prepared drink without a long wait. This unique ambiance makes it a popular destination, particularly for solo diners or professionals on a quick break, and is often seen as a place to grab a coffee and then take a walk in a nearby park.
The menu at Zibetto is a testament to its commitment to authenticity. The main focus is on a small, but expertly crafted list of espresso-based drinks. The coffee itself is a proprietary blend roasted in Italy, ensuring a consistently high-quality flavor profile. Beyond the coffee, the menu offers a selection of simple yet delicious Italian fare. The paninis are a popular choice, with classic options like Prosciutto and Caprese. The pastries, or "dolce," are also a highlight, with treats like Cornetti (Italian croissants) and Cannoli, providing a perfect complement to a rich espresso or cappuccino. The balance between superb coffee and a curated selection of food is what makes Zibetto a complete and satisfying experience.
Zibetto Espresso Bar is conveniently located at 1385 6th Ave, New York, NY 10019, USA. Its prime location on 6th Avenue places it in the epicenter of Midtown, surrounded by corporate offices, high-end shops, and cultural landmarks. Its proximity to Central Park makes it a popular stop for people who enjoy a morning run or a leisurely stroll. The coffee shop is easily accessible by a number of subway lines, including the B, D, F, M, and 7 lines at the 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center station and the N, Q, R, and W lines at the 57th St - 7 Ave station. This central and well-connected location makes it a go-to spot for locals, business people, and tourists alike.
The accessibility is further enhanced by a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ensuring that everyone can easily visit. For those who drive, paid parking lots and paid street parking are available nearby, although navigating Midtown traffic can be a challenge. The layout of the shop, while narrow, is designed for quick and efficient service, making it an ideal destination for those who are in a hurry but still want a high-quality product. Its presence in a high-traffic area solidifies its status as a dependable and consistent choice for a daily coffee fix.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Home to many European men standing at the counter pretending to ignore the throngs of private equity guys in their 50s getting 8:55am cappuccinos. But they make a mean coffee not gonna lie. I love the latte. Their iced and hot drinks are good. There’s place to stand and one table outside.A great spot to get a coffee then walk in the park. I use it for coffee meetings (to go, walk in the park)
August 06 · Cassia AHad a morning run in the park and stumbled upon this great coffee bar. I ordered a double espresso and it was very good. I saw a lot of people ordering cappuccinos and lattes in front of me and they looked great too. Would highly recommend as a place to grab a quick coffee - it is narrow so not a place where you sit and converse for an extended period of time.
May 13 · justinStill the best coffee in Manhattan. This tiny location is almost entirely takeaway, but the coffee is smooth, aromatic, delicious. I honestly do not know why folks get coffee anywhere else. If you avoid a certain chain where the coffee costs more "bucks" and deserves fewer "stars," you'll be happier.
April 09 · Susan OliverPure, quality Italian coffee.Stopped by this past Monday morning for coffee and pastries. A friend who works nearby mentioned this was the most popular coffee spot among his colleagues, and he wasn’t exaggerating. Two Italian gentlemen behind the counter, with the older barista moving his hands like clockwork, almost robotic in precision. No wonder people were nearly lining out the door on a rainy Monday morning. Fortunately, the line moved quickly, and we were in and out within five minutes.Like most people in line, I ordered a cappuccino with a double shot and a Maritozzi (cream bun). The cappuccino was exquisitely silky and velvety, with a delicate hint of fruitiness that lingered just right. The bun was slightly dry, but the cream’s texture and sweetness were spot on.
March 31 · Jea KimStumbled upon this small espresso bar near my hotel! Skip the big chain coffee shop and go here! You won’t be disappointed. I enjoyed an iced cappuccino because their menu didn’t have my usual cold brew. It was really good! Lots of treats available that I didn’t try but I’ll be back for sure.
