Creperie Juliette Introduce
For travelers passing through the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey, finding a satisfying meal or a delightful dessert can often be a crucial part of the journey. Creperie Juliette, a specialized creperie, offers a welcome culinary stop within the busy confines of Terminal C. As a dedicated dessert shop and quick-service eatery, it focuses on the art of the crepe, providing a wide array of options that cater to both a sweet craving and the need for a savory, substantial bite.
Operating within a high-traffic location, Creperie Juliette's primary function is to serve the constant stream of tourists and commuters moving through EWR. This setting dictates a naturally casual atmosphere, where the focus is on a quick turnaround for customers in a hurry. The business is categorized specifically as a creperie, ensuring that its expertise lies in preparing these thin, delicate pancakes with an impressive selection of fillings. Their offerings are designed to be a "quick bite," perfect for those with limited layover time, and they are especially known for providing excellent dessert options for travelers.
The menu at Creperie Juliette extends far beyond simple dessert crepes. While the sweet varieties, featuring popular combinations like Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and ice cream—such as the highly-rated "Juliet's Favorite"—are a major draw, they also feature an extensive list of savory crepes. This dual offering allows the shop to serve as both a sweet treat destination and a source for a light, customized meal, covering needs from breakfast to a late-night snack. They aim to provide a flavorful, quick-service alternative to standard airport fare, making it a distinctive option for New Jersey travelers looking for something different.
It is worth noting that a business operating in an airport environment faces unique operational challenges, often leading to varied customer experiences. While the concept of fresh, made-to-order crepes is highly appealing, travelers should be mindful of the high-pressure, fast-paced nature of airport dining, especially during peak travel times. The establishment is designed to be good for children, offering recognizable and comforting foods that can ease the stress of travel for families.
Creperie Juliette is uniquely located to serve the traveling public of New Jersey and visitors arriving via Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). This location means its primary clientele are passengers with boarding passes.
The official address for the shop is: Newark International Airport St C Terminal, Newark, NJ 07114.
Specifically, the creperie is situated within Terminal C, which serves as a major hub for various airlines. Accessibility is inherently linked to airport security and flight status, meaning the shop is primarily accessible to ticketed passengers within the secure area of Terminal C. For New Jersey residents who use EWR frequently, the location is a recognizable landmark within the C70-C99 gate areas. The operational hours are typically designed to align with the flight schedule, often starting very early in the morning to accommodate the first wave of departures, though travelers should confirm exact opening times, as these can be fluid in an airport environment. Given its location, the dining option available is "Dine-in," meaning customers order and consume their food within the terminal, typically at a counter or nearby seating area.
Creperie Juliette, despite its focused concept, provides several services tailored to the needs of the fast-moving airport crowd.
- Made-to-Order Crepes: Specializing in the preparation of fresh, thin-pancake crepes, served immediately to ensure quality.
- Sweet Dessert Crepes: A vast menu of dessert crepes, featuring popular toppings such as Nutella, fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, kiwi), various sauces, ice cream, and whipped cream. Notable options include the Tiramisu, Ferrero Rocher, and NY Cheesecake crepes.
- Savory Meal Crepes: Offering a full range of savory crepes with protein options like chicken, steak, or shrimp, and fillings such as ham, bacon, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and a variety of dressings and sauces (e.g., Pesto, BBQ Bourbon Glaze, Buffalo).
- Build-Your-Own Options: Providing the flexibility for customers to customize both sweet and savory crepes with their preferred sauces and toppings.
- Quick Bite Service: Focusing on speed to accommodate travelers' tight schedules, with the stated intention to provide fast service.
- Coffee and Hot Beverages: Serving a selection of specialty coffee drinks, including Espresso, Cappuccino, and Cafe con Leche, alongside hot chocolate, which is essential for early morning and late-night travelers.
- Acai Bowls: Offering a selection of acai bowls, such as Nutella Acai, providing a healthier, cold alternative to crepes.
Operating within the competitive and demanding environment of a major New Jersey airport, Creperie Juliette possesses several defining features that draw in the tourist crowd.
- Specialized Creperie Concept: It is one of the few dedicated creperie establishments in the terminal, offering a distinctive, European-inspired menu that stands out from typical airport fast food.
- Dual Menu Appeal: The balanced offering of both richly sweet dessert crepes and hearty savory crepes ensures they meet the needs for a light meal, a substantial breakfast, or a decadent treat.
- Ideal for Tourists and Travelers: The location and menu are perfectly suited for its main crowd—tourists and travelers—who are often looking for unique or comforting food that is easy to eat on the go.
- Kid-Friendly Offerings: The presence of sweet, customizable items like Nutella and banana crepes makes the shop a "Good for kids" dining option, helping to simplify travel meals for families.
- Extensive Dessert Focus: While located in an airport, the shop functions as a dedicated dessert spot, with specialty offerings like the Tiramisu and Brownie crepes being a highlight for those seeking a pre-flight indulgence.
- Casual Atmosphere: The setting is appropriately casual, minimizing formality and fitting the relaxed, yet hurried, nature of airport dining.

Creperie Juliette is worth choosing for New Jersey travelers who are specifically looking for a unique, specialized, and quick dessert or light meal option while navigating the stress of EWR Terminal C. In an environment often dominated by standard grab-and-go fare, the creperie provides a genuinely different and often highly delicious menu item—the fresh, made-to-order crepe. Choosing this shop means opting for a personalized, warm meal or a lavish dessert that breaks the monotony of travel food.
The sheer variety on the menu, particularly the creative sweet crepes like the Joe's S'mores or the savory options like the El Mexicano, means there is a flavor combination to suit almost any palate, whether you're craving a rich treat or a spicy snack. For a quick refuel, the presence of acai bowls and a full range of hot and iced coffee drinks makes it a versatile stop. Despite some noted customer service challenges typical of high-volume airport venues, the product itself—a delicious, customized crepe—is a worthwhile indulgence that can significantly brighten a layover or pre-flight wait, making it a distinctive and memorable choice in the Newark Airport landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Horrid. I tried to order on a kiosk at 445am on a Saturday. I got yelled at by the staff "Five five five". I deduced that they meant to say they open at 5am. There was no sign saying it did open until 5am and I am sure I was not only person who made this mistake.Staff lacks both professionalism and basic manners. Stay away.
July 12 · Justin FedericiStaff was Very slow for doing the job and unfriendly manner. 20 mins to make one order and it is like this. First ugly crepe in life.
June 17 · Li QuincyThree people trying to make a crepe. After a few failed attempts and 20+ minutes, they still hadn’t started our order. Had to leave without food to board our flight. Recommend finding someplace else.
August 12 · Eric BruningNever had such simple airport food take such a painfully long time to make. I ordered a Nutella crepe and it was not Nutella, rather some cheap and gross chocolate sauce. And it set me back $23 (with a coffee I had to walk to a separate store to pick up). Don’t recommend.
September 24 · Alice HowellI wish we could give 0 stars. Oh great looks like we can. We ordered 3 items, spianch mushroom crepes, strawberry banana crepe and Nutella crepe. What a waste of 46 approx dollars. Worst crepe ever! Everyone in my family hated all of them. To top it off the person who made the crepe was so rude - said I have only 2 hands (raising her hand up)Pls note : there was not line, I politely asked her after some time when wil the crepe be ready. It's better to drink water than eat here. I barely give reviews but this one even my teen said to pls review and warn others
