A perennial favorite is the **Griot Meal (Pork)**, featuring perfectly seasoned and fried succulent pork pieces. Pairing this with a generous portion of **Rice n Peas** and a side of the famous, rich Haitian **Macroni Gratine** provides a quintessential, satisfying Caribbean meal.
For those looking for a flavorful stew, the **Legume Meal** is a must-try. This savory vegetable medley, which often includes eggplant, cabbage, and carrots, is traditionally stewed with seasonings and meat (though some preparation methods may vary, as noted by customer feedback, the core flavor profile of the rich vegetable stew is what stands out).
Seafood lovers should not miss the **Fried Red Snapper**, praised by customers for its taste and quality. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had an amazing experience at Haitian Imperial Cuisine! The flavors were authentic and bold — you can tell everything is made with love and tradition. I tried the fried fish, and it was hands down one of the best Haitian fish I’ve had in a while. The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re Haitian or just love good Caribbean food, this spot is a must-visit. Will definitely be coming back! OH LAWDDD!
May 01 · Pierre ReviewsJust left there, and I wasn't impressed. There was no menu. The server didn't seem like she spoke much English, but she was nice. I got the legumes with rice and peas and a side of macaroni. There was no meat in my legumes. It had one piece of crab with a few pieces of and it could use a little more salt. Although the macaroni was burned a little at the top, it tasted amazing. I won't be back. Also, as you can see, the presentation is not the best. I will stick to Good Taste down the street.
June 05 · Nathacha Louis-JeanPaid $20 for a “large” griot and got a bowl mostly filled with rice (which was actually good), but the griot was disappointing small portion and mostly fat. The lady at the counter was a sweetheart and even reminded the chef it was supposed to be a large, but he brushed it off like the portion was fine. It wasn’t. Save your money and hit Good Taste instead they don’t play you like this.
May 16 · Joseph LeveilleI had such a great experience picking up food at Cuisine Imperial ! Even though I was just getting takeout, the servers and even the owner went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and accommodating ,it really stood out.As for the food, it was pretty delicious and authentic. In my opinion, they are definitely not stingy with their portions. The servings were so generous, I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly, the food smelled so good I couldn’t even wait to get home to dig in.If you’re looking for excellent food, amazing hospitality, and generous portions, Cuisine Imperial is a place you’ll want to support again and again. Can’t wait for my next visit!
May 15 · Gaetane CainesI recently visited the Imperial Restaurant on Linden Blvd to support Haitian cuisine, and left with a full heart and even fuller stomach. I had a wonderful experience. During my visit, I had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who was warm and welcoming. She took the time to share her vision and plans for the takeout restaurant, which was truly inspiring. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The fish and rice with black mushrooms was a hit, and it was perfectly seasoned. The service was just as outstanding. The staff was warm and welcoming throughout. I highly recommend this Haitian restaurant. It’s a great example of progress and pride in our culinary culture. I’ll definitely be back. Hopefully, the menu and prices are posted both onsite and online.
