★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wow! Our first time trying Ecuadorian food and it was phenomenal! We are big sauce people and each dish was served with 2-4 sauces! Will definitely be back for more.
July 28 · Emily de la VegaThe pork sandwich and hot dog were both tasty and well-prepared, but the wait time was quite long — it took about 30 minutes to get our food. While the quality of the food was good, the customer service could definitely use improvement. A bit more attentiveness and efficiency would really elevate the overall experience.
May 25 · AmaliaThis place is bomb. The pork sandwich and empanadas are extremely good and reasonably priced with quick turnaround. The sandwich in particular is extremely well balanced (similar texture to carnitas although lighter + pickled onions / cilantro and an Ecuadorian salsa.) Unreal, worth traveling for honestly
June 05 · Nicholas PhillipsSTUNNING FOOD! Absolutely delicious Ecuadorian food in the patio of The Gibson! The food was fresh, healthy, elevated, full of bright and bold flavors, and prepared by the owner and her mom! Plenty of non-meat and GF options!Shrimp a la Plancha plate came with rice, lentils, salad (topped with cherry tomatoes and salsa criolla!), tostones and salsas. The wild caught Ecuadorian shrimp was grilled in a mouthwatering chimichurri sauce and the heads had so much flavor!Muchin de Yuca with Cheese - sort of like a cheese filled cassava dough croquette that had the consistency of a light fluffy mochi! Served with tangy fresh coleslaw and was amazing with the salsas!Requested carryout and they were kind enough to accommodate. Will absolutely come back again and again!
August 23 · Nancy ChoiWe had such a great dinner here! We ended up sitting outside at The Gibson and realized they were advertising for Del Rocío in the back courtyard. It was such a great surprising find! The women working the counter were so helpful and kind! They helped my boyfriend and I pick items from the menu- their 3 for 15 empanada deal was perfect (see photo)! It was delicious will definitely be back! YUM!
