★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s mixed reviews but I had to go see for myself. The atmosphere is like a typical bodega in Harlem nothing fancy. How many delis are making steak, lamb, etc? Yes, the prices are pretty high; however, NYC restaurants are high too. The portion size is large that I had enough for my lunch. I ordered the rib-eye steak with Jollof rice. I forgot to take a picture but I enjoyed it. The steak was seasoned well and the Jollof rice was good. I am planning to visit again and order the lamb. I do recommend going when it’s less crowded to avoid the rush. I was much to go on Saturday and shockingly it was only 4 people in front of me and I patiently waited 20minutes. If you’re around Harlem and want a quick steak dinner or even lamb I highly suggest Deli Boyz.
August 10 · NeiciWe ordered on UberEats for pickup here. We ordered Lobster tails, grilled lamb, meatless jollof rice, smoked turkey rice, and salmon bites. When my husband got there after waiting 40min via Uber, he still had to wait an additional 30min and the gentleman told him they didn’t have lobster tails, he said that’s fine, he’d take lamb and shrimp to even the cost. We got three trays of random bullshit they probably wanted to throw out. We spent $100!!!! My husband was laughing at a guy in there telling him exactly what he wanted and how he wanted it and the joke was on us because although they were annoyed with that guy. I bet he got his order correct. I would NEVER recommend this spot or ever return here. The service was alright according to my husband but yeah, we’re good on this spot. We don’t even know what it is they gave us so we ended up tasting it and it was all NASTY! Especially the mac and cheese. Don’t waste your money or your time.
July 08 · ReneeI have been a loyal customer at this store for two years now and I love their food. African cuisine takes a while to cook. Please keep in mind this is not a restaurant and orders are made to serve as ordered. Each dish is made with love and accuracy to ensure every customer gets the same experience. The price if the food is the same at any other African restaurant and the amount of food you receive is more then you would at any other restaurant I order two steak meals with two sides (2 big steaks)
June 07 · Shaunda HarrisToo Much hype for this food and wayyy!!!!! Over priced for $35 i had salmon, jollof rice and their onions with a 10oz ginger drink which was frozen solid it was all seasoned well but atmosphere makes you feel like you are going to get food poisoning because food was sub par warm and just looks like a hole in wall dirty deli
July 25 · Gr WiThe food is good but the dibi was mainly bones and fat. Also $31 for dibi(lamb) with one side is overpriced. You can go to any other west African restaurant and spend about $20 for the same thing. Also expect a line with 20 minute wait (not that bad).
