★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The other day I ordered, Eatwell African Cuisine, for lunch. I had ordered their, Jollof Rice lunch w/ Mixed Meat. The mixed meat came with Beef, Cow Skin, and Tripe. I was under the impression it’d come with Beef, Goat, and Chicken. The Jollof was not bad at all. Ate all of it, and I am not a huge rice person. Mostly the Jollof meals are built around the rice and the meat if applicable are a complement to the meal. I made the unfortunate decision to take a sip of what I thought were the juices of the mixed meat. I found out the hard way that it was simply straight up oil and fat. The beef skin was ok, the tripe was inedible, but the actual beef meat was really good. I’d love to try this place again, hopefully next time with a better understanding. But my reviews are based on flavor and experience. The beef (tail????) was really good, the other meats we fairly inedible. The Jollof was lacking any depth of flavor, but was fairly decent. I give them a generous rating because the staff was exceptional, and kind. From the exterior of the restaurant you wouldn’t expect it to be so nice on the inside. I’d love to try this place again if I’m in the area. The potential is there and I think I may have just ordered incorrectly.
July 13 · KevLar Da DonThis is my first time ordering here and trying not to be too harsh. Very disappointed with my order and I wish I carefully observed every foods posted here and their plates. I got to say of all Nigerian foods I have ordered this have to be the worst. I know i am already harsh but seriously, why are my orders MICROWAVED before being handed to me??? I hate how it ruined the whole taste and smell. DOBETTER!
July 24 · Ibrahim AliI placed an order with this restaurant today and I wished I could go back in time to rethink the decision. I ordered amala, gbegiri & ewedu. They decided to send me pounded yam, gbegiri & ewedu instead without my consent, a combination of food l've never tried before, I called the restaurant severally but no response. I was so angry I almost started crying. I just got back from work hungry and tired. I would have appreciated if they canceled my order instead. Their food is nice I won't lie, but I wished they weren't greedy.Because only greed would make you do that. left the food on my table for hours cause I didn't even know what to do with it. Do better
May 28 · BraceletiqueDo NOT eat here, the food is not fresh, you can taste the difference between food that was just cooked vs food that was cooked days ago, they are real skimp on the meat and overdo it on the rice. The meat was tough, overcooked, couldn’t put a fork through it and they only gave 3 little pieces of meat. Just save yourself the disappointment and eat somewhere else!! I’m so serious
September 16 · Anisha BaptisteEatwell has been consistently awesome for many years now. Everything on their menu is spot on. The service and food presentation are equally great. And you can also order off UberEats as well.Unlike some other places, they're always looking to improve their quality and service.
