★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ordered lunch here and disappointed because we never have a problem when we order in the restaurant. Today we ordered caldo de bola with an extra bola on the side. We bring the food home, and it was only one in the container. I offered to pick it up and I’m not sure who handed me the extra bola, but really? No accommodations for the inconvenience? Other restaurants apologize and give something for something they did wrong. Geez, here I was being rushed out. All I got was “Have a nice day” wow! Really!? Above all, we’re all timers for the food here. Sorry but this upset me. My family could order and get their food from here but it left me a bad taste and I will not order or even eat at the restaurant. And it’s sad because she, whoever was giving me the food, didn’t believe that one bola was sent. I tried showing a picture and she briefly looked at it and kept saying it probably broke. No because I saw what came out of the soup container. It was only one in there. She then again said have a nice day. Whatever! Attached is a picture of the food. You can clearly see it’s one ball not two. Next time the orders should be tripled checked before putting in the bag. Don’t accuse loyal customers when they order and charge them extra and it’s wrong.
May 10 · Michelle NoriegaI got the BanderaCeviche had no lime, and it was completely dry making it an onion and shrimp salad with no dressingGuatita was prepared well but missing flavor very blandI don't even want to bring up the chivo/stewed goat. It was the hardest and dryest meat I've had in a long time.Overall if you love Ecuadorian food, there's better places that will satisfy you better. Fogon and Moreno restaurants i can say provide better tasting food.
February 09 · HaczarI got takeout of caldo de bolla, and it was disgustingly unappetizing! Apologies for the graphic description, but it genuinely resembled vomit. Plus, they're outrageously expensive. Save yourself the hassle and make the trip to Hackensack, where you'll discover more authentic Ecuadorian flavors, including caldo de bolla for just $10, rice included.
February 26 · CJDid takeout. Overpriced and skimpy on the seafood. More soggy chips than anything else. Not worth it.
July 10 · Sal DeLucaRecommended place. The Guatita is delicious.
September 12 · Marcel Mondragon
