This authentic Dominican restaurant has become a go-to spot for locals and tourists alike who are seeking a taste of genuine comfort food. The establishment prides itself on its focus on a specific and beloved part of Dominican cuisine: "fritura," or fried food, and "chimichurri," a classic sandwich. Its casual and trendy atmosphere makes it a welcoming spot for a quick bite or a satisfying meal, whether it's for a Saturday dinner or a post-club night craving. This dual appeal, catering to both daytime and late-night crowds, is a testament to its status as a reliable and cherished part of the neighborhood.
El Fuerte Fritura Y Chimichurri’s menu is a deep dive into the rich flavors of Dominican street food and traditional dishes. The “Fritura” section offers a variety of platters, with combinations of classics like "Orejitas" (pig ears), "Longaniza" (Dominican sausage), and "Chicharron" (fried pork belly), all served with "Tostones" (fried plantains). The menu also features “Yaroa,” a popular dish made with French fries or sweet plantains, topped with meat and cheese. Another highlight is the “Chimichurri” sandwiches, which come with various meat options like "Pollo" (chicken) and "Bistec" (steak). The menu also includes a variety of refreshing "Jugos" (juices), such as "Jugo De Chinola" (passion fruit juice) and "Jugo De Morir Soñando." The focus on authentic and flavorful dishes is a major draw, and while one customer review noted a mixed experience with an order, the general consensus is that the food is a primary reason to visit.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Simple and direct, take it as a critic to improve your overall service Fuerte. Waited more than 25 minutes, after ordering , explained well what we wanted on the order , he even suggested a more expensive platter due to the choices of meats and after getting back home , the order was all messed up. So we got charged more money for less food. Trying to call the number to resolve this issue but no one picks up . We paid $30 to received a $15 plate and wrong . Why writing the orders and having 3 dudes in the truck to make mistakes ?? Hopefully they can translate this . Guys you can do better , this was not my first time buying from you , hopefully not the last ( maybe ). No lo tome a Mal fuerte , es una mala experiencia que puede ser evitada en El futuro.
September 05 · Magdiel BaezLove the food here. Very nice staff as well. Always come here, both after a club night or for a Saturday dinner.
March 21 · Manuel SerrateWhat’s the point of having a phone number if you’re not going to pick up ?
September 25 · Manny RodriguezIt was quite good, although a bit salty for my palate. However, others who dined with me found it delicious. The price and service were exceptional!
January 02 · Nicolasa LopezDo not eat here. I waited on line 15 minutes and got skipped more than once. Even after I spoke up for myself. Once I received the food, it was luke warm, and after eating it, I became nauseous and vomited. I don't usually eat street meat, but since this had such good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Absolutely disgusting. Bad food with poor service
