Located in the UES, this casual restaurant offers a wide variety of options. We tried the Eggs Benedict and the Silver Dollar pancakes which were nothing to write home about. Service was subpar. It did offer a nice atmosphere, specially in Fall, as you were able to sit outside. A bit pricey for the overall experience.

The food is very good. Two of us went for a Sunday brunch, although we made a reservation weeks ahead, the hostess told me she doesn't have my name on the list. I asked her to please look again, then she found it. She could have asked me my name again, if she was not sure, instead of telling me "No there is no reservation."Then another attendant tried to bring us to a table in the very busy area, right next to the path where waiters pass by. There were many vacant tables by the wall for 2 people, which looked more comfortable so we requested to be seated in that area. The attendant told us that area was reserved for a big group, but later we saw all tables there were filled by small groups, 2 or 3 people just like us. I don't know why they didn't give us that table.Food and coffee was good. But we felt rushed the whole time. The music was very loud, simply adding more noise. This maybe is another tactic not to let their customers stay long.The brunch menu dishes already include fries and priced higher for that. I ordered a sandwich without fries from their regular menu. (BLT with Avocado $15.75)

Good location, very pleasant cafe. I was served really quick. I ordered a burger and hot tea. The burger with mozzarella was good. The sauce was not so much, it tasted like a mix of mayo and ketchup. The waiter was kind and I had a positive experience with this cafe. But charging $4,50 for a cup of tea is too much :)

There was no wait for for a seat. We sat inside the restaurant. My fiancee and ordered drinks and chicken tenders as an appetizer and 2 burgers for lunch. We literally sat there watched people who came after us be served and checked in on while we were still waiting on 2 burgers. We asked for medium and mine came damn near rare. No one ever refilled the water and they gave us dirty plates. We finally were ready for the bill and to go containers so we can doctor the food up- and yet again people who came after us were taken care of and brought the check.10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend.I completely understand it being busy in the location but that’s no reason to ignore patrons in an establishment and treat others as a higher priority.
