★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Tried the vegan mango and chocolate at Emack & Bolio’s in Brooklyn, and both were a bomb! The flavors were perfectly balance and stood out. The ice cream was just the right amount of sweetness, in fact the chocolate was more like a delicious bitter dark chocolate. the texture was light and airy, unlike some dense coconut based ice creams. They’ve been around in the city for so long, and it’s clear they’ve maintained their quality over the years. Highly recommend!
September 07 · Geetanjali ChughJust had the most delightful experience at the brand new Emack & Bolios! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm and inviting atmosphere by the owner Joshua. But let's talk about the ice cream …wow! I tried the pink flavor (which I forgot the name lol) but I’ll post a picture) it was absolutely yummy. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients, and the texture was perfectly creamy. What really made my visit stand out, though, was the exceptional customer service and the recommended flavor. If you're looking for a top-notch ice cream experience with incredibly delicious flavors and outstanding service, especially from people like Joshua, then you absolutely have to check out the new Emack & Bolios. It's a real treat!
March 31 · Jonathan MirelesThe ice cream tastes very thick and chalky, more icy than creamy. The flavors were pretty weak, the peanut butter especially tasted very artifical (tried peanut butter, brownie, and almond coconut). Not worth the $7 scoop (with tax) for sure...
April 18 · Rine BDelicious ice cream! Found this place after trying to hunt down Maple Walnut ice cream which is popular in Canada, but hard to find here. It was perfect! Real ingredients, high quality. Looking forward to trying more of their flavors.
August 03 · Julia BallThe staff here deserve five stars—genuinely so friendly and helpful, they made the experience feel promising right off the bat. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself didn’t live up to the hype. We tried several of the regular dairy flavors, and while the flavors themselves were good, the texture was consistently chalky and slightly powdery. We didn’t try the vegan or sorbet options, where a different texture might be expected, but it was surprising to experience this in the standard dairy flavors. Overall, great service, but the chalky texture took away from the experience.
