What is Worth Choosing
For the ultimate New York buffet experience at Fishman Buffet, the wisest approach is to take advantage of the features that make this restaurant truly unique:
The Ultimate Hotpot and Seafood Combo: Without a doubt, the integrated Hotpot option is the star of the show and a feature rarely found in a high-volume buffet format. It is worth choosing a buffet package that includes this. The ability to select your own fresh seafood, thinly sliced meats, and vegetables and cook them at your table in a flavorful broth provides a level of quality and customization that elevates the entire dining experience beyond the typical steam-table buffet. Look for the selection of daily fresh catches—including crab, shrimp, oysters, and more—and add them to your hotpot for the freshest possible taste.
Must-Try Carved and Specialty Items: Head to the specialty stations for the items that require professional preparation. The Peking Duck is a frequently mentioned favorite and a culinary centerpiece of any high-quality Asian buffet. Also, be sure to try the prepared seafood dishes like the Typhoon shelter lobster (if available on the day's menu) and the various preparations of steak, such as the Black Pepper Hanging Steak, which showcase the kitchen's ability to deliver high-quality cooked entrees.
Signature Asian Comfort Dishes: Balance your seafood intake with classic Asian comfort foods. The Dim Sum, such as the Shrimp Dumplings, and the wide array of hot savory dishes, like Mapo Tofu, various chicken preparations (Orange Chicken, Katsu Chicken), and Stir-Fried Gun Gun Noodles, are essential for rounding out the experience.
The Grand Finale: Save room for the dessert station. The selection is vast, but seek out the more unique offerings, particularly the Durian Ice cream for the adventurous palate, or stick with the fun classics like the fresh crepes and the chocolate fountain for a crowd-pleasing finish.
Fishman Buffet’s immense selection and premium features, especially the unique combination of a grand seafood buffet with an interactive hotpot and high-quality items like Peking duck, make it a premier choice for value and variety in Flushing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fist and foremost the boss is super friendly and hand on with the guest. Never had I had dinner with friends where the boss come over and take care of us personally. Food was great for the price we paid for. The only bad thing is that i took the whole plate of fish and it was never refilled back. I was about to teach the boss a lesson on buffet.
September 11 · Aidan LinMy friend and I came here for Chinese New Year…. She is a huge seafood lover… I’m not a seafood lover at all but I knew that they would have plenty of non seafood options for me so we went. As soon as we were walking to our table I could see the massive variety that they had to offer…. I was pretty amazed because all you can eat places generally don’t have this much…especially at lunch and for $39 it was a steal! My friend had a field day with all the seafood options and I really enjoyed all the other options!! The staff here was very attentive especially our server Grace, super friendly and sweet!! So if you love seafood and hotpot and other great foods, definitely give this place a try!! Oh… and Durian Ice cream for dessert….. along with so many other selections!!

March 19 · Frugal CyclistGood to go with friends, the sea food so good and the boss, the service so nice, I enjoy the food with my friends there and will go back the third times!
September 11 · Wilson TanI came here on a Tuesday for lunch, I arrived at 2pm and was quickly seated in a room with another 5 tables. The host sat us down quickly and told us we can get the cooked food right now as our waiter/waitress will come around to set up our hotpot and steamer. Our waitress didn't arrive until 10 mins later. When went out to get the cooked food, we were GREATLY disappointed. There were barely any food left on the platters. I was only able to get boiled lobster claws and a few pieces of tofu. The fried food was horrible, it was deep fried multiple times where it was hard to chew and rip apart. There also a few dimsum options such as the shrimp dumpling, siumai, and spare ribs. LET ME TELL YOU, please skip it. The skin to the shrimp dumpling was so thick and sticky that it didn’t taste good at all, the siu mai was just mediocre there was more mushroom ratio to meat filling cause all I tasted was mushroom. The "fresh seafood" area was okay, there was person who will shuck the clams for you but very slowly. There were also some lobster claws, small clams, frozen shrimp, squid, and few plates of beef. If you wanted the razor clams or lobster it was only for dinner (and the label was in Chinese only). What was very disappointing was that we had to obtain our own plates, utensils, AND CLEAN/Dispose of our own plates. The waitress barely came in to check in on us. We made a few trips outside to see if they had refilled any of the hot food, which they NEVER did. The sushi bar was completely empty, duck was gone, hot food was NEVER refilled. This is greatly disappointing. If they weren't going to refill the food for people who came in for lunch they shouldn't have sat us down. Another thing, was around 3pm a bunch of waitresses came in to the room and sat in the back for their "breaks" I'm assuming. No one came to aid us to clean our table, and we had to go outside to pay for our meal. Overall, I DO NOT recommend this place. For 3 people we paid about $100 something. This place could’ve had so much potential but the lack of food availability and service just makes it a place I would never visit again nor recommend to people.
