★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a wonderful, classy place! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and had a great experience. We requested to sit outside because we had our 2 month old with us. A table with extra space outside was reserved for us, which was so sweet. Throughout the night our baby was loud and fussy, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating (offering to turn down the music, checking in on us, and even offering to rock the baby to sleep for us haha). Every staff member was professional and helpful and made us feel comfortable and special. At the end of the meal, they sang happy anniversary to us with a sparkler in our dessert. All the food was delicious and perfectly cooked, as well. The crab cake and octopus appetizers were especially tasty, and we appreciated the extensive wine list. So happy to have such a wonderful place in the neighborhood; we will certainly be back!
August 13 · Sarah Joy ConsiglioVery peaceful luxury restaurant, clean location and friendly staff. Me and my wife were seated in a romantic setting on the second floor as you can see from my photos. The wine was excellent and the bread simply great. I had the pork chops with baked potatoes and my wife had the her favorite Vodka Sauce Pasta which we both really enjoyed. The price was decent felt like city prices but definitely worth it and good food! We will definitely return again, thanks guys!
May 01 · Samuel A PerezAs I stepped into Frankie and Johnnie's Steakhouse in Rye, NY, I knew I was in for a memorable evening. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the final bite of dessert, every aspect of our birthday celebration was impeccable. The ambiance was sophisticated yet inviting, with dim lighting and cozy seating creating the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional, catering to our every need with professionalism and warmth. Now, onto the star of the show: the food. Frankie and Johnnie's Steakhouse exceeded all expectations with their mouthwatering selection of prime cuts. Each steak was cooked to perfection, with a charred exterior giving way to a tender, juicy center bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, from the creamy mashed potatoes to the crisp asparagus spears.Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without dessert, and Frankie and Johnnie's did not disappoint. We indulged in their decadent chocolate lava cake and rich New York cheesecake, both of which were the perfect sweet endings to an unforgettable meal.Overall, our experience at Frankie and Johnnie's Steakhouse was nothing short of phenomenal. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, every detail was carefully curated to ensure a truly memorable birthday celebration. I can't wait for the opportunity to return and create more cherished memories at this exceptional restaurant.
May 11 · Remus CThe tomahawk steak was disappointing—way too fatty and not worth the hype. The broccoli rabe was overcooked and lost its bite. The appetizers were solid, probably the best part of the meal. However, the corn salad was basic and underwhelming, nothing special. Overall, an uneven experience with a few highlights but not enough to make me want to return.
February 15 · Alex RappSo I came to this old school cozy atmosphere steak house knowing that it was a well loved and frequented favorite. I am not really a steak person too much anymore, but totally appreciate the ambience and the vibe. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the service was attentive in the beginning. The bread and butter was delicious. I chose a salad off of the special menu and the caccio y pepe pasta special. I had a ketel martini which was perfectly made and delicious. The salad was excellent; roasted corn, avocado, blue cheese and a vinaigrette. There was a large gap time wise between the salad and the entree, so much so that I wondered if they had forgotten to put in the order for the pasta. It finally arrived and was well made, but lacked salt and had a little bit of a floury taste to it. As I had to leave to get home there was another long wait to get my check. So, even though I grew up in Fairfield County, I must say I was SHOCKED by the prices here. $30.00 for a pasta that is basically made from the water in the pan and a lump of butter? $20 for a martini? Wow.
